My family and I were pleasantly surprised during our at this hotel. It was our first stay at any Best Western so we were unsure what to expect. The lobby was large and inviting. The room was spotless and looked to be recently refurbished. The bathroom was very small, but it was very clean and I’ll take cleanliness over size any day. The shower was a little slow to drain, but it wasn’t enough of an issue to have maintenance visit during our two-night stay (I did notify the front desk at check out and they were responsive). The beds were comfortable and the thermostat was able to be turned down to cool the room quickly. Our room overlooked the indoor pool. If you are an early-to-bed person or a light sleeper, I suggest requesting a room away from the pool. The pool does not close until 10 pm and it gets very loud. However, the hotel staff does an excellent job of shutting down the facility at exactly 10 pm. I was awoken at 6:40 am on one of the days we were there because pool maintenance was having a loud conversation that echoed. I am the light sleeper in my family so I was the only one awoken by the noise. People in the pool area are able to see into the rooms so if you want any privacy, the curtains need to be closed. Thankfully, the lights in the room are adequate. The hotel is an easy 20 minute drive to Hershey Park and several of the Summer Classic field locations (youth soccer tournament). I would stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
