Just a one night stay but fitted the bill. Clean with all the facilities we needed, decent pub food and nice staff.

Good location and parking, although not easy to find.
Property in poor condition and TV in rooms not working.
New owners, so may improve, but needs inspecting.

No meals available , advised of three other locals places to eat, one only does pizzas, one doesn’t take walk ins, the other is cash only
Room was boiling hot, bathroom freezing ~ asked to have the bathroom rad on, never happened.
Bed was so soft it was like a water bed ….
Breakfast at 8, no one around, pub all locked up .. as we were packing up 35 mins later barman appeared, and said oh, we had some (more) kitchen issues so couldn’t open on time but what do you want for breakfast? No idea what’s on offer! Told whatever you want so a full English which was ok. Table dirty, no toast or bread offered, no cereal or fruit.
