Beautiful views of the river and reserve. Being a Saturday night there was drunken yelling at some wee hour during the night. Showing some signs of wear. The shower alcove and shower head needed replacing and one of the skirting boards had lifted. Overall we loved our stay here and would gladly return. The staff were awesome and friendly and the food was great.

The Loxton Motel was a great discovery on our trip to and from Canberra. Excellent motel unit with balcony & views over Murray river. Spacious, good amenities and comfortable bed. An excellent stopover or a few days. Adjacent hotel facilities top quality including restaurant with excellent food and spacious outside decks. Would return here again. No in-room microwave.

I have stayed in all 3 room types. The Riverview is lovely and modern. The Gardenview is spacious but a little older. I made the desperate mistake of booking the motel room this time. I was by myself visiting friends in the region so the size of the room wasn’t important. What is however is the bed so bouncy you nearly bounce out of it when you roll over. The day I arrived it was o we 35 degrees and the room was stifling hot when I checked in. The noise from the doof doof music coming all day from the Gaming Room (apparently) was so loud last night I could not hear the television. I only know this because at 9pm when I called reception to complain about the noise the fellow that answered the phone say they get complaints all the time. You cannot open the windows unless the smell of cooking oil through the room is appealing and there are no ceiling fans so you’ve no choice but to sleep with a noisy air conditioner on. I feel like I’ve slept under a bridge for the last 2 nights. Oh and I paid $10.10 for an iced chocolate on the cafe. Do better people.
