Hotel antigo e tradicional de Luanda. Quartos confortáveis bem próximo ao centro e também próximo de farmácias e ATMs. Quartos bem limpos porém com toalhas bastante gastas. Café da manhã bom e com boas opções. Atendimento da recepção bom.

Um hotel tradicional de Luanda. Bom hotel com quartos limpos e bem conservado. Chuveiro bom e produtos de banho de boa qualidade. Localização deixa um pouco a desejar (algo longe de pontos de interesse e do aeroporto). Atendimento cordial e café da manhã com boas opções.

I'm a customer with some regularity from the bar area - restaurant There are drunk customers who interfere with other customers, being inconvenient and rude and rubbing against aggressiveness. All this happens in the presence of the employees, who observe without doing nothing, not even calling security. The hotel management should take measures, so there are problems with excess alcohol and lack of security in common areas of the hotel.

I’ve stayed at the Tropico several times on business trips, typically my stay is between 2-3 weeks so it’s important to choose the right place. Not only is the Tropico conveniently located in the heart of the city but it’s got a chilled vibe. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily to a high standard, staff are great, friendly and approachable. Breakfast is really good, bar snacks are good, the only criticism is that the menu is very limited, especially if you’re staying for a long period. Definitely worth a stay.

I will never stay at this hotel again because the way we were treat at the from desk by the staff. They said none of our credit card was working and when we explained that the problem was their credit card machine and their bank. They did not care and we had to use cash for meals. After 2 nights the manager did do anything besides blaming us their credit card machine not accepting our card. We went move to another much nicer hotel down street ( hotel Epic Sana) where we had not problem with our cards.

It is just a place to stay - it is extraordinarily expensive for what you get! no real dining experience; a buffet for $80 pp is excageration! really not worth the money spent!
