the place is very run down and basic and totally overcharged. the owner Monica tried to rip off with some hidden costs and honestly she was very rude which ruined my stay there. I should have lefft right away after I been warned already by my tuk tuk driver (obviously she has some reputation...). The best thing was leaving the place even the view to the Mekong was nice, but it didnt make up to getting the feeling that i wasnt welcomed. i can recommend to anyone, do NOT stay there! and I hope the owner closes the place as soon as possible,

Comfortable, relaxed place to stay on the Mekhong away from the over-touristed downtown. The owner Monica is lovely and she cooks tasty food for sit-down, family-style meals. It has a bit of a European pension hotel vibe. I will only stay here in future when visiting Luang Prabang.
