The hotel is in the middle of the city, walking distance to Wat Xiengthong, the night market, the palace There are restaurants near the hotel that are very convenient to eat The hotel is a colonial style with lots of facilities, the breakfast is delicious.

Laotians are very welcoming, but the comfort level of hotels in classical scenic spots is still not comparable to that of high-rise buildings in China. I can only find fun in culture and feelings. In this aspect, I am willing to give Luang Prabang full marks.

The sound insulation of the room is too poor, affecting sleep

The hotel with the worst accommodation conditions and the lowest cost performance for this 13-day trip. It is a two-story wooden structure house located on the side of the road. The noise of vehicles is loud. The equipment in the room is simple and old. The bathtub is dirty and horrible. The other one actually had to pull the bed under the bed to use it. The room was very small and felt depressing. I proposed to only stay for the day and the rest of the cancellation failed, so I had to stick to it. I only blame myself for being too hasty when I placed the order. It is more appropriate to suggest changing the name to "ancient and simple Luang Prabang Hotel".

My second time in this lovely hotel. My room was excellent for price: quality. Friendly, young, responsible staff who always find solutions to any problem and very good breakfast with a choice from Western to Lao soup noodle dishes. I had Lao breakfast each morning as it's made by the famous restaurant next door and excellent. My room was spacious, clean, service is amazing. Staff speak good English and via Booking reply fast on the Booking internal chat system. In the coolest, most beautiful part of Luang Prabang (UNESCO heritage protected península between 2 rivers), it's the perfect spot to rest, see the world go by and discover marvelous Luang Prabang. Will be back again - same place - same room!

I'd write a positive review about a nice big room, quiet location if we wouldn't have been scammed by hotel staff. They exploited our care-free holiday mood and trust when asking us to pay in cash on check-out. Two employees were present when doing so. During private holidays I don't usually care about invoices and receipts and they didn't offer any. Later during my travel's I found that agoda had charged me as it was a pre-paid booking. I contacted the agoda, and they contacted the hotel. The hotel claimed that they were aware that it was a pre-paid booking and thus didn't charge us. As I didn't have an invoice from checkout agoda (rightfully) refuses to refund. Calls to the hotel remain unanswered.
