We initially booked into their sister property, Sysomphone Guesthouse, as Villa Merry 2 was not available. This set of properties are all owned by the same folks and they cater to Doffner clientele by price, Merry River being the most premium. Villa Merry 2 has a bathroom with each room as opposed to a shared in Sysomphone. Our room had AC, many windows and the key to the great stay was the staff. The manager, Yuen (sp?) was so accommodating and helpful that she made the stay the BEST. Good Breakfast, quiet street, close enough to town and not too young a crowd. Highly recommended.
