this was an amazing find !! we got a free upgrade during our stay to a beautiful room that overlooked the great wall, only something i could imagine in dreams😊 highly recommend, they also serve home cooked food downstairs which was so delicious! and a very good price compared to those nearby, as it is very remote this was a very peaceful stay, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, thank you 🙏

Our stay was absolutely fantastic and a wonderful surprise! The auntie (hostess) was incredibly warm and friendly, and even gave us a complimentary room upgrade, which was so thoughtful. Her home-cooked meals were delicious and authentic – we really enjoyed them. The room itself was newly decorated and spotless, with excellent facilities, and all the disposable amenities were well-stocked. The view from the window was lovely. Overall, our experience was perfect, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The owner was very welcoming. The room was clean and tidy. The location is super convenient, right next to the scenic area's main entrance. There's also parking available for the car. When we came back down from the East Gate, they even offered to drive us back to the guesthouse. Highly recommended!

Beautiful guesthouse overlooking the Great Wall of China!!!! The rooms are super spacious, comfy bed, amazing shower and great AC! No smell of smoke! WiFi works great but the best thing the VIEW - WOW!!!! Beautiful views of Great Wall from your bedroom, nothing beats it! The family that run the guesthouse are so so welcoming and lovely - we ate every meal here & it was all delicious! They offer pick up from the train station which is so helpful! Honestly one of the BEST stays we’ve had in a long time!!!

We’ve been travelling for many months and this is by far the most special place we’ve stayed. You can see the wall from your bedroom window, and walk to the wall entrance in 1 minute. The picked us up from the station too. They’re incredible lovely and helpful and the food for breakfast and dinner was so good. Perfect, 10/10 stay, could not recommend more.

A lovely homestay with friendly and helpful staff.
They arranged to collect my luggage from me when I arrived at Gubeikou Station, and took me to the start of the Great Wall section there so I could begin my hike to Jinshanling straight away.
Comfortable rooms, simple but tasty breakfast, and a perfect view of the Great Wall. Five minutes walk to the cableway which takes you up to the Wall.
I would definitely stay here again.

1. The B&B is located near the Jinshanling Great Wall's Middle Gate. The owner can arrange a shuttle service to Gubeikou Station. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the ticket booth.
2. The hostess upgraded us to a deluxe room, which was newly renovated with great facilities, and the environment was very clean and tidy.
3. The hostess's cooking was also delicious and reasonably priced.
4. The owner, hostess, and their son were all warm and hospitable, providing thoughtful service and answering all our questions. Five-star rating!

In all places I've been in China, nowhere have I experienced such kindness from hosts and neighbours. Room was clean, comfortable and with amazing view. Food prepared by lady host was delicious and filling. Im definitely coming back here in the future and I hope I'll get to meet those amazing people again...
