Because I was not satisfied with the hygienic condition of the B&B I booked at first, I temporarily booked the most expensive hotel in this small city at the time. The hotel lobby is relatively dark, and you don't know where the door is without looking carefully. Except for a check-in staff member at the front desk, the entire lobby is empty.
After checking in, I found that the room did not have air conditioning. After further investigation, I learned that the hotel has central air conditioning and guests cannot adjust it by themselves. Moreover, due to aging equipment, the air conditioner only blows out air but does not cool the room. The weather was really hot in mid-August, but fortunately, the room service staff kindly sent a powerful blower, which did alleviate the embarrassing situation a little bit.

The hotel is in the center of the city, just a few minutes walkfrom the old city center with bars and restaurants. It has a nice old fashioned look on the outside. On the inside it looks modern but in style with the outside. We had a room at the top floor. It was a nice sized room with a sky light that closes automatically when it starts raining. All facilites are nice except the size of the shower. This one is very small, where there seems to be more room available to create a bigger shower. The staff is very friendly and speaks english enough to make a conversation. I would stay here again.

The IBB Grand is a beautiful old hotel with modern touches in the heart of Lublin, about 10 minutes walk to old town. I stayed in a modern single room and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of light from both the skylight and courtyard window, as some other reviews were more negative. However, the shower was incredibly small and really can barely fit one normal sized person. That would be my only complaint though, as you will find great staff, old world charm, and all the amenities you need to have an enjoyable stay in Lublin at the IBB Grand.

Close to both the university and the historic center of Lublin, it is a very elegant property with spacious and comfortable rooms. I really appreciated their well-stocked breakfast, which you can eat inside or on the terrace.

I stayed at the IBB Grand Hotel Lublin for a week in March 2022. The hotel was very well equipped and my room was excellent! I was there for a week to arrange bus transport from Chelm to - and reception in - the Netherlands for Ukrainian refugees. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my own orthopedic pillow when I left for the Netherlands. It must have been the many life-defining impressions, I suspect. But thanks to the very attentive help of Katarzyna Szwaczkiewicz, I now have my pillow back. She has been so very kind to send my pillow free of charge to my home address in the Netherlands, so that I can now sleep just as wonderfully as I did in the IBB Grand Hotel Lublin after all the impressive days I had in Chelm that week that I stayed there. I look back with great pleasure on my stay at the IBB Grand Hotel Lublin and would like to once again express my thanks to Katarzyna Szwaczkiewicz for her extremely good service! Leon den Hollander

The impressive hotel building is located in the very center. Nice lobby with old style bar. Great job by the girl at the front desk. The room is spacious but without any interesting features. Warm. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is not bad, but by Polish standards it is rather weak. I parked the car in the city paid parking lot.
