Needed a place to stay when buying a new truck from a local place. Being from CT and not knowing the area, we found this place was really close to the truck sales place, and very reasonably priced! We were very pleased to see how clean and well kept the rooms and property was. The breakfast was great too. We would have loved to explore the park more if we had more time. If we are ever back in the area, this is definitely the place we will stay at!! Thank you for a great stay making it an acceptional trip!

Booked a 2 night stay/fishing adventure. Had drinks at the lounge the first night and our bartender was top notch. He kept an eye out and was right there ready to refill as needed. Had the breakfast buffet before leaving the next morning and it was good.

When we arrived we were informed that the A/C was down and was going to be out until Wednesday so the kitchen was hot, the lobby of the lodge was also burning up, we arrived late Saturday night and left Monday, didn't get to eat at The Lodge at all. Very sad and disappointing because when we go to KY State Parks we always look forward to eating at lodges/restaurants.
