Mold in the rooms. Beware if you stay in a common room to check all surfaces. I understand covid happened and money's been lost in Nepal tourism but there is no excuse for moldy rooms that could get you sick.

Lived there after trekking in Namche. Hotel on the main street. The owner is very nice and kind. Among the advantages - free socket, hot shower, internet, soap, towel. The disadvantages are very expensive hot drinks and food, more expensive than on the track.
I was given a room on the top floor with a panoramic view of the entire city and the airport!

I stayed at the Lama Hotel in Lukla for a few days longer than planned due to being unable to fly out because of the weather. Lama and his family were so friendly and welcoming, helping to arrange alternative flights and guiding me to local landmarks. My room on the top floor had a fantastic view ( when the cloud lifted) and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in since arriving in Nepal a month ago. I tried several items from the menu, everything was really good and there was a great selection of cakes to snack on with really nice coffee. Nothing seemed to be to much trouble even when the place was really busy and I felt very well looked after.
