Ok, so the Days Inn doesn't look the most appealing from the outside, there is a stale smoky odour in the entranceway and there's a steep set of stairs to get up to the first floor, but on the positive side the bedroom was great : it had all the essentials such large TV, clean coffee maker, fridge, microwave, a large closet, a clean comfortable bed, and a nice sofa. Also, the bathroom had excellent cucumber dove shampoo and body wash. And, the breakfast was fabulous : the dining room itself is a little gem, with excellent mismatched brightly painted kitchen chairs, and homely wooden tables, and there was great spread of continental and cooked items including hard boiled eggs and sausage. Overall, this is a great place to stay - close to the hospital in Bridgewater and convenient if you've been exploring the Nova Scotia coastal towns - Mahone is only 15 minutes away.
