Terrible experience. Staff was rude and literally yelled multiple times at us for walking in or out of the doors and for talking in the front entry. I over heard staff talking about our group saying we were not settled down m, this was at 7 pm and there was not a sound in the hallway. We will never return and will tell all other teams to avoid this property

I would have to say that the hotel was very old looking and the shower in the bathroom was very small for a tall person to take a shower. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was ok. The hotel rooms need updating and needs more accessible features to comply with the AODA and ODA standards.

Far too expensive for what you get. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was OK, but rather basic--toast, cold cereal, boiled eggs, sausages, juice, coffee, tea, milk. The room was another story. It was clean, but the sheets were tissue-thin, the air conditioner was so noisy we couldn't sleep, and the bathroom tile grout was black with mildew stains. The bed was OK, as long as you stayed in the middle; otherwise you would fall off the saggy edge. The pillows were hard and flat, possibly in service since the last century. I wouldn't stay here again if there was somewhere else available.

the hotel it self is in need of a update. the room was dirty someone was taking a shower at 12.30 am for about 45 mins and the water noise was so loud that we could not sleep. Called the front desk and they said that they can not do anything about the noise.

The Bad: I am a business traveller and would have to say this is one of the poorest hotels I have ever stayed in. Worst Bed and pillows, worst breakfast and little amenities on the property. It is very run down and I cannot imagine any one having a "conference" here in spite of it's name. The Good: Solid wifi and air conditioning and outside doors on the ground floor if you like that. Summer rates of 171.00 plus taxes hardly feel like a bargain. I should have sought out another hotel but was too tired to bother

Now that we have been home for a couple of days and had some time to look back on our recent stay at your location, I can honestly say 100% I will never be back there. Actually I cannot believe I paid almost $400 to stay there for 2 nights. First off when we went into the room the musty smell took us right in the face, ok one can adjust to that. The next thing was the decorative chair on the room, that had more stains on that then one cared too see, I actually had to flip it over to avoid gagging and getting sick. The next thing was the sour bugs crawling around the floors the whole 2 night stay. Also upon check in found hair in the bath tub. After the first night I was about to take the loss of the second night and try get a hotel elsewhere (had there been rooms at the Best Western I would have left in the middle of the night) The price to stay here nightly should never be over $100 as far as I can see. I guess the other reviews of the place should have turned me around from staying there, but the husband and I just wanted to get away for a couple nights. Needless to stay this will be a getaway we will never forget. I wish there was a way I could fight the room charges or get back my money but sadly I feel I need to take the loss and remember to NEVER book here again.

Ok, so the Days Inn doesn't look the most appealing from the outside, there is a stale smoky odour in the entranceway and there's a steep set of stairs to get up to the first floor, but on the positive side the bedroom was great : it had all the essentials such large TV, clean coffee maker, fridge, microwave, a large closet, a clean comfortable bed, and a nice sofa. Also, the bathroom had excellent cucumber dove shampoo and body wash. And, the breakfast was fabulous : the dining room itself is a little gem, with excellent mismatched brightly painted kitchen chairs, and homely wooden tables, and there was great spread of continental and cooked items including hard boiled eggs and sausage. Overall, this is a great place to stay - close to the hospital in Bridgewater and convenient if you've been exploring the Nova Scotia coastal towns - Mahone is only 15 minutes away.

Visited Bridgewater for a medical appt.,booked this property online given proximity to the hospital & their site indicating there is a restaurant & bar on site. Arrived to find that there is no dining on site, clerk advised has been closed for “awhile”. Heating/AC unit was noisy & uncomfortable, overall impression was not good & we would be very unlikely to return.
