The service was excellent, with airport pick-up and drop-off available. There were daily snacks, and the breakfast selection was extensive. However, check-in took quite a while, as there were only three staff members at the front desk that day. I requested a room with a good view, but they assigned one with an obstructed view – half a wall right outside the window, and only half of the park was visible.

Exactly as described in the video! Someone picked us up at the station upon arrival, and dropped us off for our departure too. The service was excellent. We even got daily laundry vouchers, could order snacks, and enjoyed the turndown service – everything was perfect. Fantastic value for money, definitely worth checking in!

I stayed at the Huayang International Hotel in April 2017 when I came to Luoyang to see the peonies, and I was very impressed: excellent service, and the food on the second floor was fantastic (especially the braised carp, it was so delicious)... So when I returned to Luoyang, I chose the Huayang International Hotel again. Time has passed, and I can understand that the door frames in the room show some wear and tear. The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and asked me to select 21 kinds of fruit (complimentary from the hotel), saying they would be delivered to my room in 40 minutes. I carefully made my selections, but to my surprise, a plate of fruit arrived less than 5 minutes after I got to my room. After unwrapping it and counting carefully, if you count each small tomato as one type, there were only about 12 varieties – nowhere near 21. I hadn't even checked 'pear,' so it seemed like this fruit was already prepared beforehand. I mentioned it to the front desk when I went out, and when I returned to my room before dinner, another plate was delivered, making it 21 varieties. However, aside from the bananas and small tomatoes, which were acceptable, the apples and nectarines tasted terrible – sour and astringent. I took one bite and had to throw them away, which was a waste and a shame. I suggest the hotel avoids playing number games and instead focuses on providing a few genuinely good-tasting fruits. Is that so hard? The room's cleanliness was excellent. For dinner, I wanted to order the braised Yellow River carp on the second floor, but I was told it needed to be reserved in advance and that all the carp were 4-5 jin (2-2.5 kg). There were only two of us; could we possibly finish a 4-5 jin fish? The next evening, I had a braised Yellow River carp, about 2 jin, at a small restaurant near Yingtiangate. Around 4 PM on my second day, a lovely staff member delivered a hand-drawn map of Luoyang's attractions. It showed the hotel's thoughtfulness, but wasn't it a bit late to deliver? The breakfast was quite abundant; the scallion pancakes were fragrant and tasty, but the beef pancakes were just average. The complimentary shuttle service to the high-speed train station was a thoughtful touch.

The shuttle bus was clean, and the breakfast was good too. I arrived after 3 AM and didn't want the hotel's frozen dumplings, so it was convenient to go to Wanda Plaza, which is just across the street. The room lacked a movable showerhead and a rain shower, which was inconvenient. The park gets noisy around 7 AM. The staff I encountered were quite friendly. The Thirteen Dynasties Ancient Capital is definitely worth exploring in detail.

I saw so many travel bloggers recommending this hotel, and it truly lives up to its reputation as the 'Haidilao of Luoyang hotels.' The guy who picked us up from the high-speed rail station was tall and handsome, wearing a Hanfu and holding a sign – he made a great first impression! We originally booked a 28 sqm king room, but to our surprise, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a 54 sqm super king room for free. The park and city views from the window were spectacular, which made us so happy! They offered tea, hot towels, and you could scan a QR code every 4 hours to order various snacks, drinks, milk, and yogurt. Plus, two items of clothing could be washed for free daily, and if you drove, they even offered a complimentary car wash... Honestly, the service was so good I can't even list it all. I'll definitely be back next time!

The service here is absolutely top-notch – so thoughtful and attentive! They offer pickup and drop-off, a turndown service, and even complimentary snacks, drinks, beer, and yogurt. They've truly thought of every little detail. I really wish every city in Henan had a hotel like this! I've already recommended it to all my friends.

Facilities: As an older hotel, it can't quite compete with newer ones in terms of hardware, but its 'software' (service) is absolutely top-notch, like the 'Pang Dong Lai' of hotels! The facilities are charmingly retro, yet functional and convenient. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Ambiance: The room was spacious. Service: I saw a video about this place and decided to experience it for myself in Luoyang, and it truly lived up to the hype! They've perfected their service to an incredible degree! The staff who picked me up were incredibly attentive. Upon arrival, multiple staff members opened doors and handled my luggage. Hot water was ready in the lobby, and there was a selection of hundreds of snacks. From the moment I was picked up until I reached my room, I didn't have to touch my luggage once. Their main focus is on being warm, thoughtful, and heartwarming! Truly deserving of the 'Pang Dong Lai' hotel title! I'll definitely be back!

The service really lives up to its reputation. One day, I took three showers, went out for a bit, and when I came back, the room was cleaned as if I had just checked in. This kind of subtle yet impeccable service is truly commendable, and just like the peonies in Luoyang, it's definitely worth experiencing.

I have mixed feelings about writing this review. This stop in Luoyang was at the end of our road trip, and we specifically chose the Huayang Plaza Hotel, which is often referred to as the 'Pang Dong Lai of hotels' (a famous supermarket known for its exceptional service) to experience it for ourselves. The hotel's exterior is impressive, and the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. All the value-added services mentioned online were indeed real and incredibly thoughtful. I had my car washed, ordered fruits, drinks, and snacks, and enjoyed a late-night supper. I also benefited from the room cleaning and turndown service. Yet, despite all this, I felt like something was missing. There's a fundamental difference between the hotel industry and Pang Dong Lai; the core of a hotel is the tangible product it offers. For a room costing over 800 yuan, the facilities were quite dated. You had to step into the bathtub to shower, and while the towels and bedding were clean and tidy, they couldn't offset the old-fashioned wardrobes and furniture. I kept wavering between feeling warmhearted and annoyed. Later, I realized that there needs to be a balance between soft (service) and hard (facilities) aspects, and also a balance in value for money. Different people will have different opinions on this.

The hotel service was top-notch, offering a one-stop experience from the moment I arrived by train until I left Luoyang. I could order fruit and snacks every four hours, and dumplings and glutongtang (glutinous rice balls) in the afternoon and evening. Plus, two items of clothing could be laundered for free each day. The handsome guy who picked me up from the station, the hotel greeters, the front desk staff, the floor attendants, and the lovely driver who dropped me off at the station all provided incredibly professional and friendly service. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Luoyang.

Exceptional service with meticulous attention to detail! They offer complimentary airport pick-up/drop-off, personalized luggage handling, hot towels and welcome fruits upon arrival, free laundry for two items daily, complimentary late-night snacks (like dumplings, tangyuan, or hot and sour noodles), Hanfu experience, and even a parting gift.

The rooms are a bit dated, and I'd suggest getting rid of the carpets. However, the service is excellent. I left for a bit during the day and came back to find the room already cleaned, which shows they have a very efficient service team. There were some snacks, but the fruit selection was pretty mediocre. I highly recommend dining at the restaurant. While the menu might be small, the quality is definitely hotel-standard, and the service is incredibly attentive. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. If you're not sure where to eat, definitely head to the restaurant on the second floor. The hotel also has an on-site costume rental shop, which is comparable to those outside. You can rent an electric scooter to get to Wangcheng Park.

The service was very warm and attentive, but the facilities are indeed a bit old. The soundproofing in the room isn't great; you can always hear the toilet flushing upstairs. For the same price during a holiday, an express hotel room would be about the same size, or even a bit larger than this double room. The free pick-up and drop-off service for Luoyang Airport/High-Speed Rail Station/Train Station is very convenient. The 50 yuan laundry voucher is also very handy. Since it's Peony Festival, I'd suggest decorating the lobby with some real peonies.

We chose this hotel to catch the Peony Festival, and the service was absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly dog-friendly right from parking, which we loved! They even proactively provided a clean bed and water for our dog. The fresh fruit and snacks were abundant and delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
