Family run, really wonderful and kind people. And really delicious food! Came during the Chinese New Year and on New Year’s Eve they invited us to eat with their family. They also gave us candy and chocolate. The rooms were very clean and really nice view. This is very far in the country side so there is nothing to do other than go to jiaozi mountain (30-40min drive from jiaozi mountain) and the red earth area. No taxis or anything but the hotel will give you contacts for a driver. Also no English speaking. Definitely worth it probably the best hotel you can get north of Kunming in that area.

The restaurant has dinner, and the hot pot lamb is very good, and the lamb is not rotten and the vegetables are also original. For breakfast, if the number of tourists is small, there will not be many dishes (after all, the maintenance cost of the hotel is still high), but the food is enough and the taste is good. The primeval forest on Jiaozi Snow Mountain is great, and the vegetation has such a height under such landform features, it is really very old. But in such a famous scenic spot, the price of a lot of local food is still conscience, and the people are simple, really great, thank you!

The room looks newer than the picture, and the owner is very nice. You can have Lacquer Pork Hot Pot for dinner at RMB 56 per person. There is a rice noodle for 10 yuan for breakfast, and the boss sends it to Jiaozi Snow Mountain. They open a shop here. If they come by their own bus, they can leave their luggage in their store if they come down and walk directly from the snow mountain the next day.
