Living at The OQ Hotel is just a dream! A dream of comfort, relax, pleasure, wellness, luxury, and nature. Big modern rooms and apartments with elegant furnishings inspired by European style, right in front of an awesome sea. Pool with drinks, private beach, very well-stocked Italian gym, fine restaurants and fancy pubs. The staff makes you feel at home, always with great care and a smile of their face. Anas at Front Desk and Surav Kumar, the Shift Engineer, with their teams, brilliantly resolved a few minor issues I had in my apartment. Cristhian, Theiya, and the rest of restaurant staff are always there to comfort me with food and drinks after a hard day of work. I can only hope this dream won't end anytime soon!

Location is great with a private beach. The rooms are beautiful with apartment setup so plenty of room. This hotel is truly stunning. The staff here are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble, and they think of even the smallest of details to make your experience and your stay here special. I am always greeted with a smile, and treated with respect. I would like to thank Anjalika, Souad, Bens, shoubham nizar Martin, and little Josie for making my time here truly magical.

I have lived at the OQ hotel for 5 months now and it has been amazing. The staff are all fantastic! Front of house always greet you with a smile as do the valet team, engineering are always quick to fix anything or help you with things in the room! A special shout out to housekeeping as well! Prashant the manager is always on top of the schedule and is very accommodating with my ever changing schedule and Sonjoy in particular has been outstanding, is attention to detail and friendly demeanour is a credit to the hotel!

Everything about this hotel felt premium. Beautiful rooms with stunning views. Excellent staff. Rihab was there for us throughout from check in until check out. Great hospitality.

Having stayed at the OQ Hotel six months ago and enjoyed a lovely experience, we decided to return a month ago for a pool day pass. Unfortunately, the standards have plummeted, and the experience was a total disaster from start to finish. ​The Experience ​We paid 250 QAR per person, expecting a premium service. Instead, we encountered: ​Lack of Facilities: The outdoor jacuzzis were inaccessible. ​Poor Service: We received a drink voucher, but not a single waiter approached us during our stay. ​Hygiene & Maintenance: There were no fresh towels on the sunbeds. Instead, used towels were left lying around everywhere. Worse, guests were smoking and flicking their ashes directly onto the floor by the poolside. ​No Supervision: A group of young people were jumping into the pool constantly; the lifeguard was present but completely indifferent and failed to intervene. ​The Refund Nightmare ​We decided to leave after only 15 minutes and requested a refund. The staff seemed completely untrained on how to process this, spending 45 minutes on the phone trying to figure out the procedure. ​Most importantly, we have been waiting for the refund to hit our bank account since March 28th. Despite numerous follow-ups and reminders, we still haven't received our money back. ​Final Verdict ​What used to be a reliable spot has turned into a poorly managed and overpriced establishment. Between the lack of cleanliness and the non-existent customer service, I strongly advise against spending your money here. We are still waiting for our 500 QAR to be returned.
