This booking was a huge success! Before I booked, I tentatively asked Doubao (the AI assistant) for recommendations, and they suggested this place. It definitely didn't disappoint. It's super close to the sightseeing bus stop, and just a two-minute walk from the hotel puts you right on a street with lots of food options. The best part is that 1934 (the hotel name?) isn't directly on the main street, which was perfect for someone like me who likes peace and quiet. The hot water in the room was consistently good, and it was clean. The hotel offers a complimentary pickup service from the Lushan mountain bus station and the mountain cable car entrance. I was really touched that they came to pick me up even though I was the only guest. After I got off the cable car, I called them, and they arrived in just a few minutes, like my own private car, haha. Once we arrived, the staff carried my luggage all the way to the hotel. After I checked in, they even brought it to my room – so thoughtful! The front desk also helped me plan my itinerary and told me about the sightseeing bus schedule. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the main street, with beautiful views. The dehumidifier worked wonders! My clothes dried completely overnight after I washed them. The only minor downside is the lack of large bath towels (I heard this is common in Jiangxi). They provide thin, disposable towels, which aren't quite enough if you have long hair...

The villa is right in Guling Town, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The staff helped us with our luggage the entire time, and the hotel even has its own parking spots, which solves the problem of finding parking. Since we booked two different room types for our two-night stay, the staff, considering we'd have to switch rooms in between, proactively upgraded us to an incredibly beautiful room. Fantastic! Great location, very close to the main street but also nestled on the hillside, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. My first day in Lushan was a bit rough due to language barrier. However, the staff in this hotel made a big difference. I was helped into my room, given a map and got explanation about the places and was given directions. The lady translated names of places for me and helped me write everything in pinyin on my map. I would've been lost without it for sure! Also there was a very kind uncle who helped me with my bag and I got a transfer to the cable car station. As for the hotel itself. It is in a beautiful building with a well taken care of garden. The rooms are clean and have everything one needs for a trip. The bed was also comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I loved that even though the hotel is in the center of the town it is located in a very quiet area. It is just 5 minutes walk to the tourist bus stop and to the main area with shops and restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
