We travelled over to the pub to charge our electric car & have some lunch. A number of charging apps showed 4 charging stations all working, pulled into the space painfully downloaded the relevant app for their chargers but couldn’t connect. I went into the bar area to ask for help, the guy behind the bar was lovely & went off to ask someone, he came back to tell me the chargers were not working they had only recently been installed. I explained they were showing live on a number of apps could he double check. I watched him walk into the reception area & could see the reflection of the person he was talking to via the mirror in the reception area. I can only assume he was the manager, he was wearing a waistcoat & red tie he was the only member of staff dressed this way. I could see him smirking & laughing, he then walked over to me was rude & very arrogant. As a Customer Service Director myself, I was appalled by the way this individual spoke to me, if any of my team spoke to our Customers in that way they wouldn’t last very long in the job. Beautiful hotel & bar, shame about the management, they could certainly do with some customer service training at the very least.
