Just stayed there for 5 days. There was a disgustion sewage smell entering our room that stayed there for the first day. The heating made so much noise in the night we kept waking up several times a night, and i live in a noisy city, but this was worse, maybe because it was very old. The only good thing is the location, the service was poor and disappointing, not a good value for what we paid, and just not worthy. The WiFi was non existent, it didn’t work at all, it wasn’t slow, it just did not work at all. We talked to front desk every single day we were there and the answer was the same, that the would look into it, but there was nothing they could do, and the attitude was helpless. There is no housekeeping, I had to take my own trash every other day, and it stayed outside the door for 2 days! Also, the pillows were uncomfortable and looked very old. I will not recommend it at all. There are better and cheaper places around.

Could not get refund on room so had to go. Was fun but no way worth it. Two runs open with race practice along side. Really open. I say not. The whole point is many options. Should have been more flexible so we could reschedule. Still fun and beautiful on my birthday there

I was a recent 5-night skiing guest in a "studio fireplace" room. 4 out of 5 nights the heater did not work: after functioning normally for a short time, it would emit a series of loud groans while blowing cold air, then shut down. I had to turn the heater off, adjust the temp to a higher setting, fire it up again, and let it warm the room briefly before the whole cycle repeated. Heat - cold - groaning buzz - turn off - reset - higher heat - cold - groan - repeat - ALL. NIGHT. LONG. This happened at every temp from 64 to 82. Three repair visits didn't work. Once I gave up on the heater, I had to turn on the largely-cosmetic fireplace every 2 hours throughout the night. (The room just got cold during the day.) I texted and suggested some form of refund. No response. I asked to be contacted. No response. What I got was a final-day form note suggesting that I text back to let them know I had cleared out. So, I paid over $900 for an essentially unheated ski-season room. That does not seem right to me. Further, Eagle Ridge is NOT ski in/ski out as advertised. The "ski-in" part requires trudging the length of the parking lot. "Ski-out" means walking down a walkway til you find a path to the ski run. Still, it's a pretty good location. Just manage your expectations.

The condo was great for our main purpose, a ski in/ski out experience. We had a one bedroom executive in Building B. We were on the upper level and it was a quick walk to the ski trail entry point at the end of the parking lot next to Building A, maybe 50 yards or so. The room itself was spacious, plenty of room for the 5 of us. I understand the murphy bed was comfortable but the sofa pull out was not so much. The condo came supplied with basic pots and pan and a not totally complete set of dishes. Like most condo vacation rentals, it is sort of a luck of the draw in terms of what other cooking things might be in the unit, e.g. no salt or pepper or plastic wrap. We never expect any so it was fine and we cooked most breakfasts and lunches pretty easily with what we had. There were plenty of towels and toiletries and our bathroom had a nice tiled seat in the shower. The closet just outside the front door was handy for skis and boots and was worth the stay for that alone. Some minor nits. The reserved parking for Building B is slightly misleading. The "parking lot" is actually street parking but we had no problem getting a space closest to our room all through our 5 days so it was fine. Turning on the fireplace in our unit was a little confusing. Essentially, if you flipped a switch, it came on when the temperature dropped below your thermostat set temperature, e.g., not an on-demand on/off switch exactly. It is also a slight trek (5 minutes) to the outdoor pool/sauna/fitness center, which is no problem except when you are wet and it is snowing. There was no attendant at the pool one night so there were no towels until a maintenance person showed up to open the closet. The way the sauna/pool is laid out, there is no real way of not getting your feet dirty going from the pool to the sauna, despite the best efforts of the attendant to wipe and mop. None of which would prevent us from going back and staying at Eagle Ridge. It was very convenient for skiing and it was also a good place for our adult non-skier. The view was stunning. It quiet mostly and by and large comfortable (except for the sofa bed). The staff was very friendly and helpful always. We will definite be back.

If I could give zero stars I would. This property gets 1 star for the amazing location. That’s it. The room itself had a stained carpet, with big blotches of dark stain. Dated television with just cable, not a smart tv. The fireplace barely went over 1 inch of flame you couldn’t see the flame at all. Dirty under the Murphy bed, had not been cleaned under there. Inadequate amount of toilet paper for guests. The front desk closes at 11pm. Sauna is cold. Does not work at all. The sound from the upstairs guests was SHOCKING. The noise l level was the worst I’ve heard at any hotel, let alone an expensive resort. For that reason alone I would not suggest anyone stay here. But WORST of all, they charged us an extra $397 with absolutely no explanation at all. We were out $400 for our weekend in Lutsen. Then to top it off I spent two weeks calling them over and over, emailing several times. I got one email back and one phone call at the very beginning asking for more details. Then NOTHING. They just ignored me. On the last day of this ordeal I called Eagle Ridge and once again they told me they didn’t know what was going on and were waiting to hear back from accounting, mind you this is after two weeks of dealing with this. I finally just called ******* and explain to them what was going on, ******* called ER and within 10 minutes ER finally emailed me back to tell me I would receive my money back. With no detail, no explanation of why this money had been taken out of our account and not returned for two weeks. I responded back with an email asking for details I also wrote to the manager/owner asking for details and a week later still haven’t heard back. Disgusting customer service. I’m appalled.

Arrived April 1, 2022 at 8:10pm. The receptionist (no name tags for any receptionists), asked for my name and then asked for my credit card to run for any future charges. As I begin to give her my credit card, she sneezed onto the back of her hand, and then wiped the back of her hand with her other hand. I explained that I have leukemia and don't want to hand her my credit card after she sneezed into her hands. She stared at me for three seconds with a blank look on her face, then went to a sink that is in a room behind the counter and rinsed her hands (soapless) for a split second and walked back staring disgustedly at me. Three other guests witnessed this and stopped what they were doing to witness the interaction as you could cut the tension in the air with a knife. I asked if I could read my credit card numbers to her and that worked. Then she handed me the room key envelope. (I gave up asking her to sanitize her hands and decided to just use my hand sanitizer which I always use anyway). I touched the other end of the envelope and tore it to get the card keys out, then used hand sanitizer on the cards and my hands and gave the envelope back to her. I forgot to look at the room number on the envelope so i asked her what it was. She said, "It's on the envelope" as she was throwing the envelope away. (Passive/aggressive way of telling me to go to hell). I asked again for the room number and she glowered at me for a couple of seconds before telling me. Then she started to hand me my parking pass. She just about put it on the counter, but then pulled her hand back and ripped up the parking pass and indignantly said, "You won't touch this". Another receptionist who was watching this (along with the other horrified guests) came over and said that I needed a parking pass so another was written up and handed to me (again I used hand sanitizer which is normal for me). As I turned and headed for the door, the OTHER receptionist got in on the action and mockingly said, "Don't touch the door!" I didn't deserve this. I never said anything bad to them, or raised my voice, or caused them any extra work. I didn't ask for their names because I didn't want to be confrontational. All weekend there was no manager on duty and every receptionist said there was no way to contact the manager (hence this review). And as other reviewers have said, the ceilings are paper thin and it sounded like the people upstairs were going to crash down on us. We were in room 275. Pray that the people around you are super quiet or you won't sleep. Better yet, Caribou Highlands and the AmericInn are way better.

We had not stayed at this resort on the north shore previously, so were a bit unsure what to expect. Our room was an executive condo (1 private bedroom, sofa sleeper and Murphy bed), which was perfect for our family of five! The kitchen was very nicely stocked, which we really appreciated. Good closet storage. We absolutely loved the pool and hot tub! Both are outdoors, but the pool was kept at a warm Temperature and the hot tub was not too hot. Our kids had a blast! I used the workout center while there, and I do wish there was an ability to use that earlier than 0800. That was really my only complaint, as I prefer to workout early so we can get going exploring. Our room was a Mountain View room, but we could also see the lake, which was beautiful! One other area of improvement would be to provide a bit more of either a map of the resort and what amenities there are, and/or have your desk staff trained on these things. I understand staffing is tight currently, so I feel like a simple printout with a map on one side and activities and/or events on the other would be helpful (i.e. pool open times, s’mores kits/fire ring location, music at restaurant, etc.). Overall, we had a great stay and loved the location for our many hikes in the area!

Stayed during the second week of December and our room was beyond amazing with the most perfect mountain view (TV had chrome cast, there was a gas fireplace, full size coffee maker, microwave, fridge and toaster and the bed was super comfy) They have renovated a lot since my last stay. The outdoor hot tub was also amazing and the service was great
