Swiss-Belinn Luwuk Reviews

Since 2017, the Swiss-Belinn Luwuk is the place we always stay whenever we are in Luwuk. We are always welcomed very pleasantly every time we come back.. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. From the receptionist Yunia, to Rini, Sherley, Rheza and specially ELL who are always smiling and attentive, in the restaurant at the buffet breakfast (which is plentiful and has good variety) The only downside was some of the food quality from the "a la carte menu" in the restaurant in the evening and how long it took to produce the food. For example it took 40 minutes to an hour to make Nasi Goreng. I also ordered a whole fish on two occasions and it almost inedible. The rooms are still well appointed. With comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Overall, if I am visiting Luwuk I will continue to stay at the Swissbel.

We stayed in the hotel for one night while passing through. The comfort of the bed was definitely a positive. Overall, the room and the service were very good. Drivers to the city, etc. were ordered. However, there were also misunderstandings regarding the shuttle. The staff's English was sometimes very difficult to understand. We found the restaurant below average. A lot of it was sold out and this could not be clarified in advance. The waiter tried very hard, but had to ask for each new choice. The food itself was also mediocre. The spa area was below average. The staff tried very hard, but the massage room was not inviting to relax and was poorly designed. The shower in the room dripped the whole time. The fitness center was OK because there were lots of dumbbells. Both were rather out of the way. The pool was nice. However, the showers by the pool were broken.
