"This is my third time choosing the Four Seasons, and compared to the previous two, the service attitude has noticeably improved. The doormen were more attentive, and the hotel staff actively greeted guests. The environment, cleanliness, and customer service were all good. The only minor drawback was the bathroom sink area. As the hotel has been around for many years, repairs are normal, but I wish they'd secure things a bit more firmly – I got a fright when I reached for a towel!"

"Taking advantage of the National Day holiday, we brought our child to Guangzhou and stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, which significantly enhanced our trip! Right from check-in, we experienced the hotel's thoughtful and attentive service. We had read some reviews beforehand and were prepared for a wait, but the check-in process was incredibly smooth. The bellboy at the entrance proactively helped us with our luggage, and we were offered tea while waiting. Seeing we had a child, they even brought us bottled water. Upon entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised and touched to find that the hotel had already prepared children's slippers and toiletries for us. We were also very satisfied with the hotel's room service. The cleaning staff kept our room spotless, even neatly folding clothes we had left casually and organizing small items on the table. The Chinese breakfast section offered fresh, high-quality ingredients and a good variety of dishes. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were very friendly. We were also lucky with the weather, and our child went to the pool almost every day of our stay. Although the outdoor pool wasn't large, the water was remarkably clean, which is quite rare. Finally, when we were waiting for our car to leave, a staff member stayed with us, chatting, which was very heartwarming. This experience was perfect, and we thank the Mandarin Oriental for creating wonderful memories for our family of three in Guangzhou ❤️"

"I celebrated my birthday at the Rosewood, and the hotel arranged a cake and a birthday card, which I really appreciated. The location and service are both excellent. No matter what floor you're on or what time of day, whenever you encounter staff, they'll greet you with, ”Hello, is there anything I can help you with?” It's very attentive, and I had a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely bring my family back again."

"My first stay at a Park Hyatt, and it exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional, from the reception on the first floor to the check-in on the 65th floor, and even the housekeeping staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The Lounge on the 65th floor boasts breathtaking views, especially at night, creating a fantastic ambiance. The room offered great privacy and a wonderful view, with all the necessary amenities and a well-thought-out layout, and it was immaculately clean. We were traveling with our 16-year-old child, and even with an extra bed, the room still felt very spacious."

"My stay at Jumeirah Guangzhou was, overall, really great! 🫶 The only thing I'd like to mention is the parking lot 🅿️... The layout was a bit confusing and took a little while to navigate. But that was probably the only minor downside of my entire stay. As soon as I entered the lobby, the service was wonderfully welcoming ~ 💁 I've stayed at many high-end hotels, and Jumeirah's service definitely ranks among the best – thoughtful and thorough. The room design was very stylish, and the view outside the window was absolutely stunning ~ 🌆 Waking up in the morning or returning to the room at night, seeing that view just brightened my mood. Breakfast was a semi-buffet. While the selection wasn't huge, the quality and taste were spot on, and I was quite satisfied ~ 🍳☕ All in all, it was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Guangzhou! ✨❤️"

"1. First, the ambiance: quiet, secluded, and peaceful. Even the basic room types are very spacious, and all the toiletries and amenities are top-tier brands. The room was spotless, and the insect repellent measures were very effective. The balcony is large, and the high ceilings give a sense of openness. Thanks to the hotel's expansive grounds, the mountains surrounding the balcony are breathtaking. 2. Dining: All the restaurants met our expectations. The Chinese, Western, and bar options each had their unique charm. The service was excellent, and crucially, the kitchens were spotlessly clean and transparent. The dishes showcased the original flavors, without excessive additives. Breakfast was varied, and we could scan a QR code to order personalized items. The service at all the restaurants was a big plus. 3. Hot Springs: The hot springs are a must-try. The six pools were exquisite, clear, and sparkling. Someone was always on hand to offer ginger tea. By booking in advance and avoiding peak times, we practically had the place to ourselves. The changing rooms were dry and odor-free, and we even spotted little squirrels. We didn't try the swimming pool this time, but it looked large and the water quality seemed good. 4. Because the hotel has a limited number of rooms overall, it never felt crowded, whether at the restaurants or the recreational facilities, even during holidays. I especially want to commend and thank the staff who operate the golf carts. What seems like repetitive and tedious work, they managed to perform with smiles, courtesy, and enthusiasm during a holiday period – that's truly commendable. 5. The entire hotel is well-maintained. The fixtures, elevator, and internal roads all show signs of enduring the test of time. It's not one of those trendy, 'Instagrammable' hotels known for wide-angle industrial-style photos. 6. A minor flaw (personal opinion): When discussing our basic room requirements with Trip.com in advance, they were all met. However, when I asked about a potential upgrade if the room status allowed, there was a somewhat forced emphasis on the price difference and standard rhetoric. While they were just following protocol, it felt a bit stiff. In contrast, the front desk manager who checked us in (I forgot her name, but it was around noon on September 30th) was generous and enthusiastic in introducing the resort and offering recommendations for tours. She made a great first impression. This stay allowed me to experience a sense of escaping the hustle and bustle. You don't have to actively seek seclusion to relax here; it's simply less crowded, clean, and spacious. Traveling during off-peak times with a package deal also offered good value for money."

"This hotel is truly unforgettable! I stayed here during the Chinese New Year, and it exceeded all my expectations. For the National Day holiday, my husband insisted we return, even giving up our plan to visit the White Swan Hotel, and we came back here! Every detail is a pleasant surprise, making it hard not to fall in love with it and enhancing our vacation experience! The 'old money' vibe isn't just about wealth; it's steeped in history and heritage, with a rich Cantonese flair and cultural depth. Despite its age, the hotel facilities are far from outdated. The public areas are adorned with antique furniture everywhere, exuding a sense of quality and the glory of Guangzhou's legendary old hotels. The opulent entrance is a given. The garden restaurant, with its waterfall and lush greenery, is a popular spot for afternoon tea, where you can effortlessly snap Instagram-worthy 'life photos'. We didn't get a chance to photograph the famous grand spiral staircase this time, but it's truly imposing! The hotel boasts a comprehensive range of facilities, including bars, Cantonese, Japanese, and Italian restaurants. I specifically looked it up, and there are apparently seven or eight different dining options within the hotel. It even has its own museum, worth exploring in detail. The Cantonese tea house on the second floor is beautiful, emanating an authentic 'old Guangzhou' atmosphere, with festive decorations. My husband and I finally tried the dim sum this time; the taste was good, though not cheap – I'd recommend using a package deal for better value. We've visited during two peak holiday periods, and the service has been excellent both times. We were even upgraded to our favorite suite type, which was a thoughtful touch! Our happiness index was off the charts. I always pay close attention to the gym, and this one is like a 'sky palace' within the hotel – quite beautiful and spacious, with a full range of equipment. Running while overlooking the pool, watching foreign guests leisurely swim, gives you a relaxed, 'slow living' vibe. The staff's service attitude is also exceptionally good. We were on the 16th floor, and a young lady who had just walked past us actually turned back specifically to greet us. It truly feels like a home away from home, as my husband put it. The hotel is vast, allowing for leisurely strolls and appreciation, with ever-changing scenery that's a feast for the eyes! In short, this is an excellent hotel that you wouldn't tire of revisiting for a second or third time. For the price, it's incredibly good value!"

"It was my second Voco property (reliable brand of IHG) stayed within the year. When we first arrived in the middle of the night, the staff who’d checked us in at Front Desk was wearing a white T without his jacket and the aircon had a bit of musty smell. I was definitely not impressed. When we entered the room, it was super spacious and seemed much bigger than what I have booked (I felt that we were upgraded though the front desk staff did not mention to us at check-in). Shower cap and vanity kit were not part of the standard, I managed to get a shower cap need when requested. The soup served for the first 2 nights were tasty but the sweet soup served on the third night was weird. Not sure if my body was not used to drinking boiled soup for 2 consecutive nights plus the changed weather, I lost my voice after that. There are plenty of eateries and shops nearby and we ended up spending our first day shopping in the vicinity. Overall, a great stay!"

"The location is super convenient, right by a subway entrance. Guangzhou traffic is a nightmare, so taking the subway is way better than a taxi. It's also connected to Teemall, so you can walk through the mall to the subway without even getting wet if it's raining – it's incredibly convenient! The service was excellent too; the front desk upgraded my room directly, and the room was quiet. I'm picky about pillows and need neck support pillows, which they had for both adults and children. Most hotels I've stayed at before rarely have them all, either they're missing or all taken. The breakfast selection was also plentiful. I initially planned to stay one night to try it out, but ended up staying all three nights here. The experience was fantastic, and I've already recommended it to others."
