Premier Inn Swindon West (M4, J16)

An older hotel very close to M4 j16 so very handy for travelling. Arrival was quick and easy, room clean although older than most hotels stayed in before. Did bot go into the restaurant. Car parking free but remember to add ypur car reg in on arrival.

Never took privilege card details for both bookings. Room was awful walked in and cheap air fresheners dotted around the room. A massive line of dust on the carpet around the skirting boards. Mould on the bathroom ceiling and shower curtain. Lift not working and had no rooms on ground floor so had to walk up 3 floors with 2 big suitcase. The person who checked us in women young with short pixi cut hair and glasses was honestly clueless and didn’t know what she was doing it took her 15 to even come and check us in. The restaurant- black man didn’t even know what an apple pie was. Heard the staff members arguing with each other about us as the member who took our order should have never put it through. J20 took 15mins to get. Chicken was raw. Breakfast was awful no apple juice no orange juice no bananas and no pastries. How do you even run out of all them. Took her 20 mins to come and even take our order for breakfast. The whole stay was horrific and would never stay again

Premier Inn lives up to its advertising, clean with friendly, helpful, staff. Convenient location and easy to find.

The Inn was easy to find, conveniently just off the junction. There was ample parking space. We were greeted at reception and given our key. Our room was on the second floor but the lift was broken which fortunately didn't inconvenience us too much. The room was spacious and clean with en-suite facilities. The bed was large and comfy, the shower was hot with good pressure and there were tea making facilities. Breakfast was served in the Beefeater adjacent to the Inn. The quality, variety and quantity of food and drink was good. We stayed two nights and it was quiet with no disturbances. Everything met our expectations for this price range. Would stay again.

Even though it was only an overnight stay, the hotel was disappointing. We regularly stay at Premiere Inns, this did not meet our expectations . The corridors and room had an unpleasant odour. The room had not been updated. The bathroom had paint and sealant peeling off.

As an international (US to UK) traveller on a limited budget, the Premiere Inn Swindon West was exactly what I needed. The location to the event I was attending was excellent (just fair warning, ask for a taxi as no Ubers pick up there), I'm told the food is delicious and the location to convenience and food amenities is close and useful. I hope to come back and stay again someday to explore the local area!

absolutely awful hotel. Staff are rude, rooms are disgusting and moulding save your sanity and do not go here. When I checked in it was some women not in a uniform with short brown hair, she was rude as very dismissive did not seem to care about the buisness or the guests

Let’s start by saying the checking in was a faff, waited around 10 minutes until a staff member appeared running from down the stairs, this boy appeared to be very unsure of what they should do when speaking to a guest. Secondly the room is a tragedy. Rooms need improvement as are very outdated, lights in the room are to bright and almost feels like we were sitting in flipping A&E! And lastly the toilet doesn’t flush properly, bathroom ceiling was not in good shape and also a damp aroma in the room as a whole was unpleasant, and a cheap air freshener was placed on the wardrobe. This isn’t standards of a Premier I’m used to. Definitely will never return.

Easily the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Run down, dusty musky order and the noise - next to a private room, I can only imagine was the boiler room/air conditioning room for the entire complex. The vibrations/noise were unbearable all night
