Pool was down while we were there, kids were disappointed.

After staying at many HP hotels, I've grown to expect a certain level of quality that was not there at this location. It's still a fine place to stay and the staff is very friendly (5 stars for the staff) but the physical space and amenities didn't meet my expectations. This building is just a little less well-cared for than others. The breakfast is nowhere near as good as I've had at other locations as well. Powdered eggs, flavorless bacon, cold potatoes and no variety from day to day. On our first day there wasn't even hot tea. Plastic flatware. Just not up to what I know from other locales.

I chose the Hyatt because of the location - about a mile from my son's apartment. It was reasonably priced. The room was well decorated - modern - maybe newly built or recently renovated. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked well. One night there was a bit of noise in the hallway. I put pillows over the opening at the bottom of the door. I liked that there was a thermostat in the room, not a noisy heater/a/c unit going on/off all night. Pool - ok - not large. They need an additional bathroom in near the pool, IMO.

Hyatt Place Legacy Village is one of our "go-to" places when we return to Cleveland (my hometown). Always convenient, the property is clean, the staff very helpful, and the location provides easy access to various places. It is also within walking distance of shops, restaurants and more.
