Foxhills Club & Resort

Our stay at the Foxhills golf & spa hotel was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Upon arrival we had been allocated a twin room rather than a double but without hesitation Ursula on the front desk changed it. She made us feel very welcome and provided us with information about our stay. The grounds and golf courses were stunning. The spa was lovely especially the steam room and outdoor cold pool. It would be great to have a Prosecco bar in the spa garden similar to Carden Park. The food was 5* and the service was exceptional a big thanks to Reynald for his welcome and knowledge of red wine! Breakfast was delicious, I had the eggs royale and it was beautifully presented. There was loads to do - we played tennis followed by a relaxing treatment in the spa! A big thanks to Ursula, Reynald, Ann & Louis for making our stay special. Highly recommend this place for either a couple’s getaway, lads golfing trip or a family mini break. We will be returning for sure!

Lovely stay at Foxhills for our mini-moon! We stayed for two nights in an exclusive double and it was really nice, modern, spacious and clean. Dinner in the hotels manor restaurant was brilliant, excellent food and service, great range of options for breakfast too. The facilities were great, nice pools and in a beautiful setting, plus only half an hour from Windsor for a day trip. And thank you to Victor from maintenance for fixing our door so quickly! We would certainly stay again!

Afternoon Tea at Foxhills was delightful this afternoon. The setting was beautiful and relaxed - not stuffy at all as some places can be. Our waitress - Diana - was attentive and very helpful, nothing was too much for her. The selection of sandwiches was good and the addition of sausage rolls and a delightful strawberry and limeade drink were delicious. The cake selection was particularly wonderful, especially the raspberry cheesecake. The scones with jam and cream were also exceptional. One of the best Afternoon Teas we have ever had - so top marks for Foxhills - would definitely recommend.

Foxhills is the perfect getaway for couples seeking both relaxation and recreation. During our stay, my partner enjoyed a fantastic day on the golf course while I indulged in the luxurious spa. The facilities are truly endless, catering to a wide array of interests and ensuring there's something for everyone. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing, offering a delightful variety of delicious options. We particularly recommend the Sunday retreat – it's an experience not to be missed. The service at Foxhills was top-notch. Anne at the front desk was lovely and went above and beyond to secure us a late checkout, allowing us to extend our stay just a bit longer. Matt was also incredible, assisting us with some late-night room service needs. Overall, our experience at Foxhills was incredible, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

We will be back! What a picturesque respite. We took advantage of the golf, massages at the spa, and fine dining at the fox restaurant. Smoothies and espresso and an intense workout at the gym were wonderful. Anne at the front desk was welcoming and so helpful in explaining all the amenities. Honestly, we could spend a week and never leave.

On first appearance when arriving the grounds and main house are simply beautiful and appear to be very well tended. Check in was very rushed, not too dissimilar to busy European all inclusive hotels, which are unappealing and unwelcoming! There was no real warmth or welcoming and details of where to find things was loosely provided. Making our way to our pool room I felt a business about the place from golfers to families. It had a good feel, almost like a family/friends setting. On arriving in our room it was very spacious and new! You could smell what had obviously been recently redecorated. The design and furniture was lovely and of quality. However this is where the quality ended. The bathroom had had a very minimal make over. The bath had no plug, the hot water tap would not turn on and the shower had old fittings and taps which were temperamental. The temperature remained very hot throughout and could not be adjusted, there was mould in the shower cubicle and the sink taps were old, full of lime scale and did not turn easily. If the bathroom not being renovated was to save money they have let themselves down greatly. It does not suit the room or is fully functioning which is a shame. The pool and spa are lovely and well maintained despite the gym undergoing renovations. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. An afternoon here proved very relaxing. Dinner in the main hotel was lovely with sublime food. There was a very big error when our order for mains did not reach the kitchen due to technical issues we were advised. However this was dealt quickly with a sincere and apologetic response by the Manager Alex. He went above and beyond to rectify the problem. Breakfast was also lovely with a great deal of choice and a beautiful room to oversee the gardens. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The main house is lovely however some parts are in need of some TLC renovation wise. I appreciate it is an old dwelling however the wallpaper in the bathrooms is peeling away from the walls with obvious mould behind. Al in all exquisite grounds and a lovely place but needs to ensure all areas indoors match the exterior. I would probably return based on what it has to offer, the friendly and relaxing vibe and the grounds.

We were disappointed with our afternoon tea treat in many ways. The service was poor, very slow too, nearly an hour for the sandwiches to arrive, the scones actually came out first, no spoons given for jam or cream, no extra plates for scones, nothing was cleared away, even when we chased up to pay the table was still full of dirty dishes. The sandwiches were awful, the bread was stuck together,to the next sandwich, as though they were pre made, refrigerated and then brought up to room temperature but the condensation caused the bread to stick together. There was also a very odd selection for vegetarians, so much so I only ate one of the sandwiches, the cakes were also poor and looked sad compared to previous visits where if felt like there was more effort put into the food. On a plus side the scones saved the day and were delicious. The food was also not as per menu, the child’s afternoon tea was actually jam, ham and cucumber sandwiches and the adults menu showed a choice of breads but actually all were on white bread. See pictures. Overall we won’t return as it was disappointing and not on par with previous visits.

We traveled here from London to spend a few days with family who were visiting from overseas. The grounds and main house are beautiful. We particularly enjoyed dining at the main house, where Denis took extra care to make our stay special. He also helped find our toddler’s lost cup, which was above and beyond. Dining in the pavilion was convenient, and Liliana was very attentive there. The guest rooms are nice, and while a few small room requests were missed, overall it was a very nice stay. Special thanks too to the kind men working on the new planting outside of the main entrance today! They took the time to answer our questions about the flowers and to be friendly with our toddler, who loves gardening.

We had a meal at Nineteen with our two children. Diana G was a fantastic waitress and made our experience really good. She was attentive, kind and very efficient. The food was fine but the service was better. Foxhills has very nice grounds too 😀
