South View Guest House

Its a perfect place to stay, centrally located within the town just 5 to 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants, the owners are very nice, friendly & helpful people so much to choose from the breakfast menu and very generous, the rates are good, the rooms are perfect, clean, tidy and very comfortable beds, its a nice a**osphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

My husband and I have just returned from our 2 night stay! What fantastic owners! From the moment we arrived we knew that we were in for a great stay. Penny and Drew were attentive, friendly and an all round great couple. The house decor is beautiful and has a real homely feel. The house is clean, fresh, and rooms are dressed immaculately. We were given recommendations of where to eat out, which were all great! From the local Cafe for a boozy cream tea to the newly opened Italian, everything is well recommended! Set right in the heart of the village, the house is situated perfectly to enjoy both Lynton and Lynmouth. Thank you both for such a lovely stay! We won't hesitate to book again in the future.

We have stayed numerous times at South View & this was our first stay under the new owners, which we were a little apprehensive about. We did not need to be at all, Penny & Drew are a lovely couple, very engaging, welcoming, warm & friendly. Breakfast was lovely. We look forward to returning again next year.

Our hosts were eager to ensure our stay was enjoyable and were keen to assist us with ideas on things to do in the area. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was comfortable and clean.

We really enjoyed our short break at the South View Guest House. Drew and Penny were very welcoming and gave us lots of good tips and recommendations to get the best out of our stay in Lynton. The guest house is conveniently located in the centre of the village and is a great location to explore North Devon. With stunning views and delicious breakfasts, we’d definitely recommend.

This accomodation was beyond excellent. from the ease of booking to the comfort of bedroom facilities through to the excellent breakfast. Drew was a fantastic host.

Such a lovely B&B. Great location and a beautiful house. Drew and Penny were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast every morning was amazing, they use local fresh produce and do not cut any corners, it was nice as we could choose from a breakfast menu and could choose a time slot for the next morning after each breakfast. From the front garden gate all the way up to our room the house is impeccably clean. A really lovely stay and would love to re visit again someday. Thank you Drew and Penny

Fantastic service and great breakfast! Drew is the perfect host, with lots of top tips for Lynton and the south west coastal walk. Breakfast was top draw and set us up for the next day perfectly. Rooms were great too and Drew really couldn’t do enough for us, as well as good fun. Highly recommend
