Gordonia Ma'Ale Hahamisha

The room was beautiful, heeated private pool allowed for swimming even in the cold january weather. That being said...there is a strong lack of management on all levels: 1. Handle to the room door was broken and didn't allow the door to be closed from the outside - called 3 times and was told each time that they would send someone immediately to fix it - never happened! 2. Broken toilet seat! 3. No soapdish to place a bar of soap - when calling to the desk i was told that sje wasnt sure that my room came with a soapdish but that she would send someone immediately - nevrr happened! 4. We paid for a high end room in what was supposed to be a high end spa hotel, only to have blaring music booming into our room until 2:30 in the morning! In the morning we saw that our secluded and private luxury room was underneath an event hall! Who does that and then charges premium prices?! 5. The food is buffet style which is fine - fish, pasta and salads which is great except that they dont use warming trays so all the food is cold! 6. For breakfast they offer the usual salads and pastries with a limited menu of eggs which can be ordered - i ordered eggs benedict and was astonished to see that under the hollandaise sauce was a raw egg - not lightly poached, but raw! 7. Limited management in the dining room meant when serving plates emptied you had to ask for them to be refilled - i asked if there was any cheese cake left and pretty quickly the platter was restocked -WITH A FROZEN CHEESECAKE STRAIGHT FROM THE FREEZER! All the above was mentioned on the checkout survey - i have not received any response from the hotel! My husband and I often stay at adult only spa hotels for short relaxing get-aways. Needless to say our stay at the Gordonia Maaleh Hachamisha was an extremely pricey dissappointment😕

First room the pool wasn't heated and the hot tub not working. Second room the pool was heated but the hot tub didn't work. We also ""enjoyed" a noisy wedding proposal next door followed by an after party which deprived us from the balcony and locked us in the room . This is our forth and last time here.

my son, a soldier, received a vecation while we were in the hotel. we didnt see him for a while so we asked the reception to invite him for dinner. they incisted that he would come exactly on time for dinner and not sunner. he came 2 hours before dinner, and the head of reception started an argument with us, and told us that this is against regulations. we left the hotel with a bitter experience.

Beautiful isolated hotel. Most rooms or suites have their own shared or private pools. One infinity pool for the rest. Our room was spacious ,modern and ultra clean. The paths and outside stairs very uneven or without handrails. OK if you are young.

Very disappointing experience. Definitely not worth the outrageous price. Run away : there are much better options in the area. The hotel is dirty and poorly maintained. The food is really not good. The beds are not comfortable. No service. There is no intimacy: one can hear people talking next door. The hotel is generally noisy with loud bad taste music everywhere, including restaurant, gardens, swimming pool.

There is no value for money. Yes - the view and the area are amazing but unfortunately thats all what amazing in the hotel- The bath wasnt clean, the room was in a bad maintenance, the food was OK- not more than that. It seems that the hotel enjoys from his name and location and doesn't make an effort to maintain it.
