Fourth stay for our family here. Very large rooms with small kitchenettes. All very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is main building is good. We didn't use the restaurant, but we had two really nice evening meals at the fantastic Beach Club, just a short stroll away from hotel (reservation required on sunny days). No airconditioning in rooms, but we were in garden suites and they were cool (even with 30+ degree weather). We rented bikes (excellent quality) from the hotel which is highly recommended with all the different cycle routes in the area.

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel and beautiful large rooms. Good service and friendly staff. Rooms are equipped with spacious bathrooms. We have enjoyed it. Really a adviser. We will surely come back in the future. Ideal for a few days Roermond. All is at walking distance, bars, restaurants and shops. Outlet is also at walking distance.

The facade of the hotel is not big, and it will be amazing when you enter it. The rooms are large and the decoration is special. They are all controlled by modern technology. The rooms are warm and comfortable. The beds are large. There is a terrace on the 4th floor to see the whole town. You can drink and cool off on it when it’s hot. The breakfast is plentiful. You can walk to the outlets. There are many restaurants to choose from. The supermarket is also very close. It is more convenient. It is recommended to stay in.

This hotel is quite complicated. First of all, this house has to cross the road, but when it was found that there was no front desk, the waiter at the hotel next door knew that the hotel reception desk at the entrance of the train station was the same boss. Of course, breakfast is also eaten in the hotel next to the train station. The room I lived in was also very interesting. The door of the room was several steps higher than the corridor, and it was oblique and it felt very weird. However, it is not easy to live in such a cheap and convenient hotel in a tourist village. A group of six of us stayed at the Maashof hotel on what was the last night of a 10 day motorcycle tour and it was also my birthday. I had carefully chosen the hotel in the hope that we would have a lovely stay and dinner in a beautiful lakeside location. Unfortunately there were several issues which cast a significant shadow over my birthday celebrations and ruined our stay. The problems started when checking in when they overcharged two of my friends and they would have overcharged another friend and myself, had I not noticed and intervened. I had booked four single occupancy rooms and one double occupancy room and there was an administrative issue between *********** and the hotel which caused confusion over how many guests were staying in each room, despite the hotel having the names of the six guests against each booked room. All of us were asked when checking in how many guests were staying in each room, but despite this two friends were charged the double occupancy room rate and one friend was charged for two half board dinners despite them all being in rooms on their own. In addition, they also attempted to overcharge us for the half board option despite me accepting a special offer online which had been emailed to me prior to arrival. We then had a further major issue. Three of the rooms were directly underneath the kitchen and hotel entrance and were extremely noisy until very late in the evening and again the next morning starting around 5.30am which meant several of us had a very disturbed night. Two of my friends complained at the time and agreed with the duty manager that they would have the full cost of their room refunded, as he was unable to offer them an alternative room. He advised them that if we had wanted better, quieter rooms we should have booked directly with the hotel rather than through *********** and he told my friend to email the Reservations Manager regarding the refund. The hotel management have admitted that the rooms we stayed in are very noisy, but there was no mention of this when we booked and they still charged the full room rate. On our return to the UK, I emailed the Reservations Manager and following many exchanges she offered a 25% refund for the three rooms most affected by the noise, despite the duty manager’s earlier promise of a full refund. Personally I thought this paltry offer did not provide sufficient remuneration for the problems we encountered but I felt I had no choice but to accept. I subsequently provided my bank details in an email but the refund was not forthcoming. I chased regularly by email as to why the refund was taking so long only to be told cross-border, cross-currency bank transfers take a long time and ”it will arrive within a few days” and then “as soon as possible”. Despite these repeated assurances it took 3 weeks for me to receive the refund and only then after several more emails including to the hotel General Manager who at one point decided to attack my pe

I have to admit I didn't have high expectations for a Best Western but pleasantly surprised. Clean and comfortable. Good restaurant, Spa and gym which I haven't seen but apparently very good. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend and we will be back.
