Travelodge by Wyndham Saint Andre

This is an old hotel in need of a refresh. That said the room was clean, the beds comfortable and the price was reasonable. The front desk area is in need of cleaning, organizing, there were boxes everywhere, shoes laying around and we had to wait/call to get someone to check us in.

We chose this place based on the good reviews. After spending the night here I believe the good reviews are written by the owners and their friends because wow is all I can say (and not in a good way!). The first room we got was like an ice box. 2 of the 3 heaters did not work. Sink was almost falling out of the vanity. Was told I didn’t know how to work the thermostats so had to ask the staff member if he would like to come and see for himself which he finally did. So next room was better. We had heat. The dark ring around the bathtub and random hair in it, as well as the leftover fecal matter stuck around the inside of the toilet bowl was pretty awesome. Stains all over the walls by the beds. Beds were hard as a rock but I liked that so that was the only plus I could find. Stay away!!! Not worth $20 a night!!!

Spotless room, including the bathroom. Comfortable bed, easy to find. Lots of parking space, convenient to the room.

We arrived late after a full day of driving, (Someone from the hotel had actually called us to find out when we would be arriving) check in was quick and friendly. The screen door to the room would not fully close, but there is an inner door that locks. The room was sp****ly furnished, no bedside tables and the bed was very hard. Fridge and microwave were unplugged, and the fridge was very dirty upon inspection. About 30 minutes after checking in, we could hear someone in one of the other rooms making a lot of noise. It sounded like large items dropping on the floor, which could be felt in our room, and we could hear the microwave beeping. In the morning we dropped our keys in the box as there was no one at reception, and realized we had left something in the room. We called the number on the window to try to get back in, but no one answered. We left a message but still have not heard back a week later. Will not be returning, would not recommend.

As expected

Easy access from the hwy and budget-friendly. No food at all, not even a snack bar or drinks machines, unless the staff did not mention. Room was clean, amenities in the room were complete with microwave and bar fridge. It appears that the room has been freshly painted, but not totally renovated, the metal parts of the bathroom fixtures and around the room were a little rusty. Over all, it was a good stop for an overnight rest, sheets and towels were very clean, quiet area, I felt safe and had a good night sleep. Nothing fancy, just a nice motel room to get some much-needed rest.

I like it's quiet, clean. I don't like they put one more door in front of a room, it's not convenience to move baggage because the door is hard to open.
