Great place. Love the beach and pool. Not too big and noisy.

My husband and I did a quick decision, lets go to a beach mini vacation. We came from Wisconsin. After looking through many hotels in Madeira Beach and reading reviews as well, I finally decided on here. We are VERY happy I choose this hotel. The staff was great! The room was perfect, we stayed in a room on the beach and it was everything I could hope for. Very nice rooms. I read the reviews from others stating their rooms smelled like mold, and couldn't be farther from the truth ( I commented to my husbands how impressed I was with not having that smell in the room since it was on a beach). Having a beach view was great. The beach was beautiful, and right there, easy walk. Location was great for a short walk to Johns pass whether from the beach or the street. One of the best parts, was we weren't bothered by staff at anytime, some people might like that, we preferred to call them when needed, convenient way was they had a basket in the room for dirty towel exchanges, just put outside your door and they come and refresh your basket, awesome idea. I recommend this hotel and we can't wait to plan our next trip again. Perfect weather, perfect hotel, perfect vacation. Hats off to you Barefoot Beach club, job well done on making our little vacation so relaxing and fun.

I had a beachfront studio. It is large enough for 1-2 people. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the beach/ocean view was perfect. I had groceries delivered from Publix. Walked to John's Pass for shopping and dining.

Awesome room views, clean, convenient!

Our experience at this hotel wasn’t what we thought it would be. Firstly the room was average and very dated, the floor was dirty (couldn’t walk around barefoot my feet turned black with the dirt on the floor in the room). The air conditioning was so noisy sounded like an aeroplane was taking off! Noise travelled in the corridor and disturbed our sleep. You can also hear the road noise, and music being played from other rooms late at night. Dirty shower curtain Didn’t feel like the rooms were very secure from the public with an open staircase to the street, whereby anyone could have just walked up there. Then there was the pool area… looks nice and rules are set in place but the hotel management are ignoring guests who are not following the rules. During our visit we saw kids jumping into a packed pool guests being annoyed by this and staff members filling towels ignored this. An obvious rule about speakers not being allowed around the pool and there were 3 families all with loud speakers disturbing guests and staff ignoring them. Towels regularly running out and not filled up quick enough. Children in the hot tub and staff ignoring this. Not enough parasols to provide shade around the pool area for guests. Sun lounger attached tables were all dirty. Top floor sun deck this is a nice idea but again the management are not checking this area for what is actually going on in this area. There were guests who were smoking up there and they weren’t smoking your usual cigarette. This was extremely disappointing and again rule signs are in place but the management are ignoring what is happening in this area. Overall this place is over priced and not worth the money! I wouldn’t stay here again.

2bd 2bath condo w ocean view was awesome! Very clean and spacious. King bed in main bedroom super comfortable. Large balcony with table and chairs. Kitchen could use a few more dishes (only 6 plates, bowls, cups) . A platter, mixing bowls and strainer would be helpful. A very limited Gym is “temporarily located” in a community laundry room for our past 2 stays. But overall an awesome property and will definitely book again.

Very clean, room was efficient

The suites were spacious, clean and everything we needed. The way refresh of towels and other needs were met were smooth and happened like magic. The suites could us another chair or bench for sitting, given they can accommodate six people for sleeping. Overall, would definitely book another stay if ever in the area.
