Location and cleanliness were top notch, the bed is obviously not big but it's OK for the price in the city center. Unfortunately I didn't get much sleep because it felt like the garbage truck was working in the street for an hour in the middle of the night and it was so loud it was like there was a construction site right outside the window. It's not the hotel's fault but I didn't get a restful night.

Stay overnight before taking a train from Atocha
The hostel was good for the price I paid and its location. However, it was kind of difficult to find it. Actually, you have to ring the bell at the door next to Taco Bell on the right (3rd floor) and announce yourself. They will let you in. The elevator is pretty old (the doors are opened and closed manually), but it functions well. There is no breakfast at the hostel, but you can find some places for breakfast nearby. The best thing for me was to stay close to the Sol (Renfe local train station), which has an elevator (for the suitcase), and then to travel easily to Atocha Train Station and take a long-distance train. I recommend this place to those who plan to take a long-distance train from Atocha.

This hostal is ideal if you want to be in the middle of the tourist area with everything on the doorstep. 1 minute from Sol metro. Very safe. Clean and well maintained. Lovely staff. Could not fault it. Would book again.
