Stayed here for one night during a layover in Madrid. The room was a bit dated, but the cleanliness was good. The soundproofing was poor; I could hear car noises from the street and people talking loudly in the hallway.

It is sbout 10 minutes from the Atocha train station.
Sound proof inside the room is bad and you can hear what the people said next door. No water is available in the hotel lobby or bottle water in the room. I was refused to get in the restaurant to get drinking water. Four stars hotel is definitely over-rated.

The location is decent, very close to the train station, and not far from Retiro Park on foot! The hotel has an elevator, but there's no kettle in the room. However, you can get hot water from the east side of the lobby on the first floor (bring your own thermos). The mini-bar items are all chargeable; a bottle of water is 2.5 euros. The room itself is quite spacious.
