The location of this hotel is very good, close to the train station, but this hotel is relatively old, especially its bed is very uncomfortable, the breakfast is average.

After traveling extensively in China, returning to Spain highlighted some noticeable differences, particularly in Madrid. While the city and its infrastructure may feel a bit outdated compared to other global hubs, the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá was a decent and comfortable place to stay.
The hotel’s location is its strongest feature—it’s directly across from Chamartín Train Station and its adjacent subway station. While the train station and subway facilities are not the most modern or impressive, the convenience of being so close to transportation hubs is a definite plus. The street leading to the hotel is a bit unusual, set on a slope, but it’s manageable.
The room was clean and functional, though slightly dated. The beds were comfortable, albeit with older spring mattresses that could use an upgrade. Despite the slightly worn feel, the room provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploring or work.
The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. It was easily the highlight of my stay and set a great tone for the day.
The service was also pleasant and friendly, which is a nice touch, especially given the sometimes lackluster service standards in Spain. The staff were helpful and made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall, while the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá may not be the most modern or luxurious option, it offers good value for its location, a comfortable stay, and an exceptional breakfast. If you’re looking for a convenient and reliable place to stay near Chamartín Station, this hotel is a solid choice.

Estuvo muy bien porque estaba muy cerca de la linea de Chamartin y estaba eso alejado de los ruidos de las obras y del polvo de las obras de la Estacion de Chamartin esto. Muy bueno el desayuno y habia siempre de todo para que no falte de nada. El buffet de la comida estaba muy bien. Y una de las chicas de recepcion era muy simpatica especialmente. La piscina estaba muy bien. Y las habitaciones muy comodas. Ademas de que cerraban muy bien las ventanas. Para repetir nos parece a los dos. No sabiamos que la reserva por defecto era para una sola persona..... De manera que tuvimos que abonar un suplemento una vez estuvimos.
