First off, the front desk staff's attitude during check-in was subpar. They asked me to write down my detailed home address and personal information on a blank piece of paper that looked like a scratchpad. I don't understand why this was necessary, and the front desk offered no explanation. Secondly, the room assigned was terrible – small, not soundproofed, and directly facing the elevator. Even using the toilet was difficult; it was practically built under the sink, making it impossible to stand up after using it. Unbelievable! The room didn't match the hotel's description online at all. The wooden door to the bathroom was basically broken and wouldn't open. Furthermore, the room's heater was located behind the bathroom's wooden door, something even the hotel staff didn't seem to know. The room was constantly cold. I repeatedly complained to the front desk, and their response felt very disrespectful; their attitude was awful and harsh. When I tried to communicate in English, they would frown and make me repeat myself. As early as 8 AM, I could hear people moving around, and the elevator doors opening were clearly audible. At night, I could even hear the man next door coughing. Paying over 100 euros for such a distressing night was really not worth it. When I checked out and greeted the front desk, they just gave me a cold glance with no response. I wonder if all hotels in Spain are like this? On a positive note, the location is very convenient, just a few steps away from the subway and bus stops, even though it's not in the city center. It felt safe, although you don't need a room key to use the elevator.

Great water temperature and pressure. Toilet on the smaller size. Fine for solo Bed on the harder side if thats not your thing , sound insulation is so so but it's an old building and the price is reasonable. Decent for a short stay.

• The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. • The air conditioning did not have heating, but the blanket was thick enough to keep warm; the temperature that night was around 13°C. • The room was very spacious—enough to fully open two large suitcases on the floor with plenty of space left to walk around. • The bathroom included a hairdryer. • The shower drain seemed slightly clogged, causing slow drainage; we had to keep the water pressure low while showering. • No drinking water was provided in the room, but the front desk informed us that the tap water from the bathroom sink is safe to drink. • There was no kettle in the room, but you can request hot water from the front desk—they kindly provided it from the cafeteria free of charge. • Although the hotel is not located right in the tourist center and isn’t within short walking distance to major attractions, it has excellent transport links: there are both a bus stop and a metro station right outside and around the corner. • It’s very convenient whether you’re arriving from Atocha Station or heading to key destinations like Madrid Royal Palace, Moncloa Bus Terminal (for Segovia express), Plaza Eliptica (for Toledo express), or Estacion de Autobuses Madrid Sur (for Porto overnight bus). • The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On the day of check-out, we left our luggage there for free while we visited Toledo. When we returned around 6:00 PM, they even provided hot water for our instant noodles. We rested in the cafeteria for a few hours before heading to catch our overnight bus to Porto. • Their assistance made our trip much smoother and more comfortable.

Rooms are small, the elevator even more, is well located, in the south on the central Madrid with restaurants, bar, banks, ATM, Metro station very close to the hotel.

The staff are friendly and approachable. The location is about a 20 mins train ride from central. The furnishing looks dated. If you touched down late and hungry, I would highly recommend Trujillo Burger opened till 12am, about 10 mins walk from the hot. Overall it's value for money.

The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the subway station. There are restaurants nearby, but the quality is average. The hotel's buffet breakfast was rather quiet, though the service was acceptable. The rooms were clean and spacious.
