Mae Ai Tha Ton Hotels

Stayed for two nights in a spacious bungalow with a fabulous view across valley. Breakfast good. Also had an excellent northern thai dinner at short notice on first night as rain and public holiday left us few options. 15 minute walk to town. Also walked up to temple. Nid arranged driver to take us to Chiang Rai as Mae Kok was raging due to rain. Lovely place. Recommend.

A wonderful resort set on the banks of the Kok River. The resort is alive with wildlife and surrounded by stunning gardens full of flowers and ponds. The rooms are large, spacious and full of everything you would need. There is outside seating overlooking the gardens which is perfect for enjoying a beer.

Our group of 8 joined a 3D2N tour of North Thailand and the tour company chose this resort for us. Love it. It is in a rather remote location near the border of Myanmar. Our bungalow is next to a river and a mountain. There's heavy rain pour with lightning at night and I was quite scared, thinking of any river flooding or soil running down from the mountain etc. Nothing bad happened luckily, not even any water leakage at the room. Our tour guide arranged massage for us and did it at our room. The room is clean, one double bed, one single bed. The air conditioner works well and quiet (Panasonic). There is a great yard with trees of mango, laichi and roosters. A nice place of very good atmosphere. Very quiet at night and I suppose many stars can be seen. Better have a car if you stay here as it is not easily accessible. There are some narrow alleys to get through to this resort and our 10-guest van could just go through.
