Tawan Riverside - Elephant Resort

The resort is far from the airport. Since I wanted to experience the elephants waking up early, I chose this place as my first stop in Chiang Mai. I booked a pick-up with the resort in advance, and I also booked it through the resort when I returned to the city. After checking in, you need to cross the iron chain bridge to enter the resort, which the children find very interesting. Elephants can be seen everywhere, and they are very close. The resort also has a lot of activities, which is really interesting. Life in the mountains is relatively simple, and both adults and children like it very much. We booked a double room, which is really very small. If you bring children, it is recommended to stay in a triple room. The room is simple. Although it is very old, the hygiene is OK. In addition, we stayed for one night and checked out the next day and returned to the city. We found that the children’s belongings were forgotten in the resort. It was already more than nine o'clock in the evening. I contacted the hotel but there was no response, so I contacted through Ctrip’s housekeeper. So late, there was still a housekeeper online, and I was immediately impressed and said to help me contact the hotel. At more than ten thirty in the evening, I replied to me that the hotel said that our belongings were not found, and I was very disappointed at the moment. We contacted the hotel again early the next morning, and the hotel soon replied that we had found our belongings. Later, I learned that the hotel would get off work at 21:00 in the evening, so they responded to us early the next morning. I don’t know who Ctrip’s housekeeper contacted…

It's perfect for bringing children here, the room rate is not expensive, and other activities are charged separately. Rafting is fun, and you can meet local young people playing along the river. There are also elephants along the river, which is very interesting. We booked an elephant wake-up call, and the mother elephant came with her baby, and I could feed them a sack of bananas, which was super cute!

Very good, left us with great memories. The bathroom for bathing is relatively simple. But it doesn't affect anything.

This restaurant feels like a primitive forest. I like it very much. I like animals, including elephants, cats and puppies. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the drinks are very good. I like the passion fruit smoothie the best.
