About 40 minutes from Maebashi city. There was a hot spring inn at the end of a hairpin curve in a mountain that could be called an unexplored region. The hot spring bath surrounded by negative ions is the best. The cloudy hot water felt good. The open air is lukewarm and you can stay in it for a long time. The food is also great. The female head chef personally served the food. Everything was super delicious. Japanese sake and fin sake go well with it! The time we spent there flew by in the blink of an eye. I wanted to come again. It was a separate residence, so I didn't have to worry about having a baby in my room.

It was a very satisfying hotel. However, the only point for improvement is that during this coronavirus pandemic, even though we were able to eat in a private room with peace of mind, the waiter was holding the rice bowl with one hand at the bottom and top, so his thumb was touching the rice. ,,,,I'm sorry, but it was painful for me to dispose of that part. In terms of hygiene, I think it's better to make sure to hold your bottom with both hands. I really hope that this one point can be improved and I would like to go again.

The hotel is known for its murky hot spring water, and the drive to the hotel involves climbing up a narrow, steep mountain road with only one lane, and then descending down a steep cliff to reach it. In particular, the slope in front of the hotel was a slope I was hesitant to go down. The room was a corner room on the 5th floor, and I was able to relax with the forest outside the window. I felt comfortable staying in a very clean room. The large public bath has an indoor bath and an open-air bath. The characteristic brown and cloudy hot water did not get cold, and was so warm that you could not stop sweating for a while after taking a bath. Meals will be served in a private room. The main dish for dinner is Akagi beef sukiyaki. We had delicious. There is also an extensive alcohol menu. This is a hotel where you can fully enjoy the wonderful hot springs.

Overall, I was satisfied with the room, food, and service. After a thorough explanation of the indoor hot spring, we headed to our maisonette-type room, Bettei "Sakura"! The entrance is on the second floor, and you can go down the stairs inside to find the dining room and bath. The water is their pride and joy, but it is for one person, and there is a large bathtub next to it that is boiled water ← you pour the water yourself. Ah, if this is cloudy water, it's a bit disappointing. The food is a variety of dishes, including grilled diced Akagi beef steaks, collagen hotpot with local chicken, and grilled salted trout. And everything was delicious. There was one other disappoin**ent. You have to go down the stairs inside the bedroom to get to the toilet. If you have foot problems, I would recommend a different room. The entrance is quite steep, there is no toilet in the bedroom, and it is not recommended for those who want to enjoy the hot spring with the whole family. It is a fairly long drive up the mountain path to , so it might be a good idea to stay at the hot spring inn after discussing the food, room, etc.
