Hotel Lake View

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Lakeview and honestly, it was amazing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is polite and helpful and most importantly, food here was amazing. The hotel is also located centrally which is another plus. All in all, it was an extremely pleasant stay. Will definitely recommend this hotel..

First and foremost as the name suggest, the hotel doesnt have any lake view. It like walkable distance from main market and this is its huge advantage. There is one swimming pool which is super dirty (cant even see its base). When i went the rooms were booked totally yet i couldnt find anybody in whole resort, felt like a secluded abandoned resort especially at night. The staff is very courteous and helpful but i feel the resort is in very bad shape and needs a serious makeover. There are lot of trees but the area is not properly lit, and there are lot of insects as well so rather than appreciating greenary i would say i felt like staying in a jungle. There are monkey problems which they cant do anything about but u need to make sure your balcones are locked or they can take away your valuables. Now coming to the main part: 1. Rooms are clean but i felt the blanket was a little stinky. 2. Wifi was very weak at my room and the network was dropping intermittently my airtel network was also fluctuating. 3. We took one single room for 4 people for my family and to my surprise, i was given a super uncomfortable sofa cum bed ***** with regular bed. This was not accetable to me after i pay so much amount, atleast another bed should have been given. Suggestion: Buy two rooms rather than one room accomodating 4 ppl. 4. They provide 2 500 ml water bottles for each room irrespective of your room size. We were 4 people in one big room and 1 litre bottle felt like super cost cutting. 5. No branded soaps or shower gels. There was a bottle which was being refilled, which i feel was cost cutting again. 6. For me some switches were also not working, so cant generalise that. 7. Food: Super expensive, a tea for 80 Rs and a usual 20rs bottle for 50 rs. This is loot. I avoided having food but looking at the menu i felt the prices are havily inflated. Breakfast doesnt have much option, i felt terrible, dining area is also not upto the mark. All in all, i feel the brand is losing (or already lost) its charm, i just feel, if a person is paying some amount it, the services should justify it. I left the place to never return.

Best hotel to live and spend your visit while travelling to Mahabaleswar, Pune. Good Architecture, Room Service & Supportive staffs. No non-veg food allowed. Veg food are delicious don't miss the breakfast has lots to offer in your plate's. Little over priced but ambience is good. Recommendation for ground floor rooms, sit and njoy cup of tea with pure oxygen & wintery weather/winds. Morning is mountains are awesome can't explain the freshness in air and if you a hotel like LAKE VIEW then it completes your trip.

We booked this hotel for two nights for a wedding we had to attend in Mahabaleshwar. First impressions were excellent. The room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom and room had the requisite amenities for tea, coffee and shower shampoo. The quilt was warm enough on a very cold night. Ours was a pool facing view so very pretty. The included breakfast was excellent. Service was very good. The biggest con on a cold January day and night was no running hot water until you asked for it at the reception. The first day they made us waste water for 1/2 hour by asking us to run the tap before realizing that the valve was shut off. This was something that we faced every time we opened the hot water tap. They wanted us to run the water until the valve was opened. It was just ridiculous. Waste of water and time. I couldn’t wash my hands or face in the cold water. The only time we got hot water was in the morning for a shower. It makes me think that they were just trying to conserve their solar heated water.
