I stayed here with two other family members. The pros: Cute colonial style bungalows for some of the rooms. We had the suite which had a sitting room and a bedroom. The rooms were very spacious and had high ceilings. The bathroom was spacious and had a nice shower, good toiletries. The housekeeping staff were excellent and attentive to patron needs. The property had a swimming pool for kids and games set up on the lawns. The beds were very comfy. The staff were all pleasant and polite. The cons: While the breakfast buffet was good, the a la carte items were just horrid. I tried several dishes and ALL of them lacked flavor and were not what the dishes typically taste like. The dining room was an alfresco type setting, which was nice, but I do wish there was an indoor dining room as well. There was an indoor bar, which appeared comfy with dark furniture, but I did not go there and it always looked desolate. The speakers for music in the dining room were beyond horrible. The screech of the speakers with the poor soundtrack and the unpalatable food made it difficult to sit in what would have otherwise been a very pleasant area. There was no view on the property so no amazing sunrises and sunsets from here. The various lawns on the property were also broken up without being cohesively held together. The biggest con though is that we paid about twenty two thousand rupees per night, similar to 5-star single, albeit large room properties in the area, for a hotel that I would classify as 3.5 stars at best. That really burned. Overall, I would say that for a 3.5 star property (if you got it at a commensurate price), this would be a great hotel as long as you don’t mind the food, the music speakers, and the lack of any view.
