Mamalla Beach Resort

Had a pleasant stay, the staff was friendly. The food was average i suggest you go out and have food rather ordering it at the resort

Value for money. I went with my family and enjoyed a lot. As both our kids are adults, i feel its reasonable coparing with others resorts. This resort is 5mins from mahabalipuram. The deluxe room i was provided was excellent including bathrooms. In bathroom they provided small soap, shampoo, brush and paste (for 2) and for coffee(milk powder and coffee powder and sugar) fridge and kettle was available and in working condition. The swimming pool is well maintained. Noticed they clean the waters daily and taking samples of pool water in vials(i guess for some kind of water analysis) which made me think they take car of pool and its safe. The rooms are near and next to beach. Trees and lawn are well maintained. Because of this, when i come out of my ac room, i don't feel too much temperature difference outside. Because of this we can spend more time in the mornings in beach side sitting under tree shades. The restaurant is being renovated and we are provided food in tents with fan. Sometimes birds fly in and we are concerned about the food being snatched by the birds. The complimentary breakfast was good(3/5. The buffet lunch was available but comes with only 2 non-veg dishes rest of the soup and starters are veg only. If needed we have to order individually (i know in resorts individual menu items are expensive. Overall i had very good experience. We enjoyed a lot especially taking stroll in the beach mornings and basking in the serenity of the sea at night.

1. Fantastic location 2. Rooms should be cleaner and are smaller rooms. Overall ambience is good. 3. It has got a fantastic sea view restaurant. 4. We had lunch but good taste was not good. 5. Breakfast was fantastic overall a good stay.

Room was not cleaned properly. Need to improve on customer satisfaction. Had asked for room freshner 3 times then only it was provided. Requested for laundry service thrice, they said they will check and come back and no response untill we checkout. No amenities inside apart from swimming pool and it may not suit for resort. Breakfast was good.

The stay was good and the location is superb

Rooms were old and not well maintained. Food was tasteless . They didn’t even had proper lid to cover the food items . The so called private beach was dirty . We were charged a night and the services we received doesn’t justify this price . I will not recommend it this property.

Very good place to stay with family and friends. They have maintain their property really well and super clean beach.

We stayed in mamalla beach resort for a night. The establishment is quite old but clean. But what i found the best feature of this place is the location of the restaurant, the taste & quality of the food served & the everlasting smile of all there staffs. The restaurant in located overlooking the sea, the food served are fresh and very tasty. Staffs are very cordial and accommodative as well. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.

We had a nice time in mamalla beach resort. Check-in and check-out process were very quick. Food in restaurant is very good and house keeping also good.
