I entered this nice place by having dinner at their restaurant ..Vino such a cool person offered me a good price as I was travelling alone..he just made me feel right at home with his best hospitality.it was good that the Wifi was working very well..there was some work going on the day..but it's ok the night was very quite and nice if you are looking for a decent private room at an affordable price this place is the best in Mahabalipuram.

The hotel seemed to be a construction site. The shower and the sink were not functioning, and the padlock to the door was almost impossible. However the next morning, when I requested a better room I was moved to a much better one - the plumbing all worked and the padlock also. And the room was at the rear so much quieter. I suggest waiting to book here until the building works have been completed.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean enough and it was located near to beach and all other spots were in a walking distance and it was quite and relaxing in the night and the restaurant had good vibe..so we had most of the meals there. this place is recommended.

Room size was ok; bed size was comfortable for one couple and a kid. No chairs and table in the room, but can relax in the balcony. Excellent location, walkable distance from the beach. No restaurant nearby for local Indians, but plenty of cafe joints for foreigners. Room charges are acceptable for the available facilities. In fact, I was lucky as the hotel owner didn't charge me extra for early check-in and late check-out (6-7 hrs. extra). The guest house owner Mr. Shekhar (Mob: 9003363877) is really a nice and helpful person with ground to earth personality. I took help of Vadivel, a local auto guy (Mob: 9840182084) for the local tour. Over all my stay with the family was pleasant and memorable at Vinodhara Guest house and Mahabalipuram tour.

My stay was very nice and the room was good vibe and the restaurant downstairs is too good and went with friends had a Good time we used the terrace and food were served to our room and the beach is in a walking distance..people are cool and and the rooms were clean enough..and totally recommended.

We stayed at the king suit room which has a Balcony with some chairs to relax 😎. The rooms were clean and spacious the main thing the bathroom was very clean and toilet rolls been provided. It was nice to just walk around a while to reach any place we wanted and the beach was just a stone throw distance, its worth to stay in this budget friendly hotel🏨 The host Vino is very helpful and very kind *** who has a lot of information about the town and around and always ready for us. Vino arranged a cab for us and even helped us booking train tickets. Thanks Vino..

Our Stay at Vinodhara Guesthouse was absolutely perfect and the rooms are kept clean and tidy and the staff was nice and helfpul..the Boss Vino is a genius and gentlemen...and personally very nice soul. Overall a decent stay at hotel Vinodhara Guesthouse.
