The one who checked in was not the one you booked. When we checked in at night, the boss took us to another house because there was no booking information for us at all ... I did n’t have the energy to do it in the big night. I told Ctrip Ctrip to start the next day I didn't say a reason at the end, but I did n’t let me check in, but the hotel that took me was compensated at the same price. I did n’t reply to the email for more than 24 hours, and I did n’t object. The reason was that we did n’t understand the version of the hotel and did n’t understand how the 54 yuan compensation was calculated. I ’m really dissatisfied with the booking service.

First of all , I would definitely recommend staying at least one night in Bhaktapur, where people mostly do it as a day trip from Kathmandu. Located in one of the narrow lanes of the old city, the hotel is hardly a minute's walk from Durbar square . This is a traditional family home converted to a boutique hotel without losing its old world charm. Clean room, cosy bedding, friendly service and a lovely rooftop with views of the durbar square wherein you catch a glimpse of the local life. Breakfast was a bit basic but again, you can't complain for the rates you pay.

We stayed at Hotel Atlantic in December and had a very comfortable stay. The Location is very good because its in a more quiet place but still in Thamel. The Breakfast is also nice and freshly made. We booked a Trek with them and it was amazing. The Rooms are clean and there is hot water. Overall we had a really nice stay at the Hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

I am on the tail end of an 18-night stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Kathmandu, and I can honestly say that it has been WONDERFUL. I've gotten to know many of the staff, and they all are warm, friendly, and gracious. The hotel has only been open for a couple of months, and it is spotlessly clean, kept that way in part by one of the hardest working housekeepers, Sumitra, that I have ever seen. The staff head, Rajesh, and his assistants, Raj Kumar and Ram, who also multitask with cooking, greet me every morning with a warm welcoming. They all will make you feel like you are part of their family. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, off a busy street, and conveniently located near the touristy Thamel area. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, rather upscale, but very economical. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a GREAT breakfast that is way beyond what they call a ”continental breakfast” that one would get in America. Freshly cooked to each guest, it includes eggs however you like them (I loved the omelet!), freshly cut fruit, veggies, potatoes, toast with butter & jam, juice, & coffee or tea. And there is a restaurant right next door for other meals. I had never stayed at the Lakhey Hotel before, but I can highly recommend it, and I will surely return in the future. If you say that the hotel is rich in color, it is a Heritage Hotel with only 25 rooms in Badgren. After the 2015 earthquake, the owner rescued a large number of artifacts from the world heritage of Badgren, and almost all the furniture was rescued from the disaster. The 75-year-old window frame sculpture was rescued from the fire, and the 400-year-old stone floor survived in the rubble of the palace. If it is possible, I also hope that, like the owners of these hotels in Nepal, they will be the inheritors of culture, and will preserve and inherit the history that they have experienced in their lives. #文化体验#

The Kailash hotel is perfect. Really great location in the heart of Kathmandu but on a quiet street. The restaurant has a great variety of options and it has a lovely courtyard to chill out and enjoy a coffee or drink. The staff are exceptional and the hotel is very clean & modern. The bedrooms are very modern, clean and it has an option of an adjoining bedroom for a family. This hotel is such a lovely place to explore Kathmandu or to prepare for a trek. Naba from ‘Third Rock Adventures’ arranged our trek and he did an amazing job. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. Sarah, Alex & Charlotte.

The staff here were very friendly and attentive to my needs. I appreciate the excellent customer service at breakfast by Bishaka and Manisha who served me fresh bhature every day and Bishaka would give me a take away coffee to do after breakfast. The restaurant manager Bikram was also very attentive to my needs at breakfast and offered extra menu items that wasn’t available at the buffet. Thank you to all at Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu Naxal for a welcoming stay.

The hotel is very close to the Great Stupa, a few minutes walk. The environment is very good, and the restaurant downstairs is very good. The waiters are very friendly, but the English is too complicated to communicate. Helping to call a taxi usually requires a quick reply and a good attitude. The price/performance ratio is still very high, and the sleep is very solid.
