Jungle Crown Organic Homestay

Amazing place if you want to get away from the busy Kathmandu valley. The owners are super friendly and the food is incredibly tasty. We went to take a bath in the nearby waterfall multiple times :) We didn't like the nearby town of Nagarkot too much and were happy to be more outside in the nature. Besides, you can easily take the local bus or hitchhike to Nagarkot town for a quick visit or to complete the Nagarkot Panoramic Hiking Trail.

Amazing family guesthouse where you feel like at home! Located in the forest, super close to nature, build with love by the owner himself! Super good sleep there, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for retreat! Everyone is welcome as a friend there, home made food is very delicious and organic, best momos I tried in Nepal were there:) I didn’t want to leave this amazing place, thank you Keshab for all the work and hospitality! I highly recommend to stay in this wonderful place, which is almost always fully booked by the way:) P.s the most friendly and cuddly cat comes with a family as well:)

“Perfect scenery and food ” I stayed here for 3 night with lovely family. Host is a chef and always make me surprise no matter breakfast, lunch and dinner especially MOMO soup, I would say it's 87% taste like Taiwan dumpling soup. I also like French fries here and can't stop eating it. Host and I shared lots of life experience each other, like traveling, marriage, kids, tuition fee, politics and so on. And his 2 adorable 2 doughter danced local song that made me feel like at home. Host also showed me Nagarkot's view by motorbike riding and we went to observation tower which the place can overlook whole Kathmandu. I would recommend this place and I will visit here again with my family.

Kesab and his family took such good care of me. I went to Nagarkot to relax and do writing, and all was amazing. They cook awesome Dahl Bat, and his children are great to do some dancing with! On the final full day Kesab took me around to see some local views. I would come here again and recommend highly :)

I stayed last night with my parents. I had an excellent time here and would definitely recommend the place. The food was home cooked and delicious, and the owner and his wife were lovely and very friendly. It was good value for money. The room was small but for one night and the price it was fine. We even got a hot water bottle on request to keep us warm!

We loved our one night stay at this place. The owner was very kind and helpful and a very good cook. When learning we are vegan, he happily added some chili beans to the dal bhat and made us a very wholesome breakfast the next morning. Just from sitting at his porch we spotted several (16!) nice birds, some uncommon in the area. Enjoyed that very much. Our room was basic but comfortable, with heavy and thick blankets on the bed to keep you warm in even the coldest nights

A good place if you want to experience rural Nepal, but not too fast away from Kathmandu. A basic accommodation with the love and care of the family. A walkable trail to the top of mountain and waterfall, perfect for a day trip. Stay 2 night, get very good sleep. Peace and birds singing and nice views. The home cooked food is amazing. Experience exceptional.

Absolute natural paradise in dreamlike tree houses, perfect to relax from the loud Kathmandu. Located on the slope, there is an area of ​​small houses which are close to each other but not cramped. Equipped with bathroom or without but always with a fantastic view of the countryside. The surrounding area is also ideal for hiking. Beautiful waterfall just 10 minutes away.
