We were booked in the River Suite - paid a deposit and confirmed. When we got to the lodge, the owner said that the River Suite is occupied. I said it is not possible, as we made a reservation for that night, paid a deposit AND confirmed. The owner said he apparently send me an email and I did not respond, which was not the cast! I check my emails daily!! Even if I did not respond, why would I pay a deposit and not show up? CALL ME THEN TO ASK?? This was obviously just a cover-up!! So at the lodge he said they will pay back my deposit - now it has been weeks later, a few emails send, and still they are ignoring me? What kind of business is this? I would recommend anyone to make sure DAILY that your booking at this place is still in order. The worst is, is not like I booked this a few months earlier, I booked 3 weeks prior, thus there is no reason to think that I will not show up. SORRY - NOT RECOMMENDED
