Our stay at Villas de Jardin was simply fantastic! The villa was spacious and luxurious, the infinity pool was simply breathtaking and the highlight was definitely the outdoor shower. The evenings on the terrace overlooking the surrounding area were simply beautiful. A perfect hideaway for relaxation and recreation!

Absolutely stunning place to stay if you're looking for a naturally beautiful place to relax, unwind and enjoy some stunning vistas. The 3 weeks spent there will never be forgotten! thank you to all the staff who were amazingly friendly, helpful and for inviting us to share an evening with you for the Kreol festival which was fantastic (amazing food, drink, entertainment and company!). A tip for diners, Del Place is fantastic nearby and you can also eat in any of the restaurants at Constance Ophelia as a non staying guest. I could not possibly recommend the place any higher!

Beautiful, spacious villa in a simply stunning location. The villa contained everything we needed for a totally stress free break. Set on a steep hillside the views of the bay were stunning. Pemma and her housekeeping team kept the villa spotless and inviting. We were very sad to leave and hope to return one day. So glad we chose this venue.

A stunning place! A lot of places are a bit of a letdown, as good photos lead you to believe it is a bit nicer than it actually is. Villa de Jardin exceeded all our expectations! A great value in a pricey part of the world. We literally were going to blow off our next prepaid destination, to try and stay longer. Pemma was so helpful in so many ways. She is a gem! The design and detail of the entire property is amazing. Having to leave was the only downside. Would love to go back to the Seychelles just to stay there again. Hands down the best place we stayed on our six weeks of traveling in Africa and Europe.

FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED, PEMMA (A HUGELY EXPERIENCED LOCAL LADY) MADE US FEEL VERY WELCOME AND WAS ALWAYS THERE IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING, SHE BROUGHT US MEDICINE WHEN WE BECAME UNWELL AND EVEN BROUGHT US SOME MUCH NEEDED DELICIOUS HOMEMADE KREOLE SOUP. SHE HELPED US BECOME WELL ENOUGH TO GO TO OUR SONS WEDDING DAYS LATER, WE'LL NEVER FORGET THAT. ALL THE STAFF WE MET WERE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, AND IT NEVER FELT LIKE IT WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE BEING PAID TO. SPECIAL MENTION TO LINDY AND SANJID IF YOU LIKE NOT BEING IN A BIG COMMERCIAL RESORT THESE 7 VERY SPACIOUS VILLAS (SET IN VERY WELL KEPT JUNGLE LIKE GARDENS) ON THE SIDE OF A HILL WITH STUNNING VIEWS ARE HARD TO BEAT, WE COULD QUITE HAPPILY HAVE SAT ON THE HUGE BALCONY ALL WEEK DRINKING IN THE VIEWS AND NOT GOING ANYWHERE.

Thank you for the wonderful stay at Villa de Jardin. Pemma and her team are excellent, very friendly and accommodating hosts. The absolute experience of our stay was the invitation to a Creole evening in the garden of the property. Here Pemma and her team conjured up an authentic Creole dinner, crowned with traditional dance and music. We really enjoyed everything and were able to get a good insight into the culture and way of life of the Seychelles and at the same time get to know the guests of the other villas. We wish you all the best and that you can always welcome great guests who appreciate your love and warmth.

The view might be the most amazing on the Island. The management was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better stay. The accommodations were way more beautiful and comfortable then what is advertised. Will not be disappointed

Our stay at Villas de Jardin was absolutely perfect! Where to begin? Let’s start with the place itself: Location – 10/10: Walking distance to a couple of small local supermarkets, restaurants and beaches yet the villas themselves are nestled on a hill, with spectacular views (more on this later) in a quiet area with plenty of privacy. The only thing you will hear are the birds and the sound of the roaring ocean waves in the distance. (I really believe this location is so much better than other villas/hotels that are right on the beach – you just won’t get the same views from ground level, nor will get the privacy!). The sound of the waves had me sleeping like a baby every single night :) Rooms – 9.9/10: A generous sized villa, immaculately clean, huge & comfortable bed, everything you could want. The terrace/balcony is spacious and well designed to give maximum advantage to enjoy the views from every angle: unbeatable sea-view, gorgeous green hills, well-kept gardens all around. It’s so lovely to dine outside while enjoying in the breath-taking views.. we could have happily just sat out on the terrace all day, every day! The kitchenette has everything you could need. The bathroom is very spacious, clean and even has an additional outdoor shower. The pool is immaculately clean and has beautiful sea views. The villa has beautifully huge windows so that you can enjoy the extraordinary views 24/7. (The only reason I haven’t given 10/10 for the room is because I feel the lighting was a bit dark – not a problem during the day because of the afore mentioned windows but at night, either needs a few more light fixtures or stronger lightbulbs. This is a minor critique but I want to be 100% honest.. and if this is the worst thing I can say about the place then you know it can’t be bad!! Maybe the dim lighting is intentional for a more ‘romantic vibe’ but I’m just giving feedback as room for improvement. Also, the internet was a (tiny) bit on the slow side but who cares, get out and enjoy the lovely islands!! The only reason we noticed the internet is because one evening my husband had to watch an ‘important’ football match that he just couldn’t miss…). Service: 12/10 The ladies that clean the room were so lovely and friendly, always greeting us with a smile. We loved the way the towels were folded so creatively and the beautiful touches with flowers in all the rooms. We had a lovely surprise on arrival, a beautifully presented bottle of bubby, with flowers and a lovely welcome note (it was our honeymoon and it was so kind of Pemma & the staff to make such a an effort). Pemma really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and make sure that you have everything you need. We took her advice on where to visit, where to eat, she organised our car rental as well as an excursion to some of the other islands – she really helped us make the most out of our trip and she did it so effortlessly. A fabulous self-catering hotel in a most beautiful location. The villa was large, well appointed and had stunning views south across the Indian Ocean. A spacious living area had all the kitchen facilities we required; there was a large comfortable bed; wonderful bathroom (with the additional outdoor shower) and of course the huge balcony area looking out on to the view. It was the perfect spot for a most relaxing few days. The Villas de Jardin staff were inobtrusive, but still incredibly welcoming, helpful and approachable when required, we couldn't have wished for more from them. The site is situated very close to some of Mahe's more famous beaches at Port Launay (2.5km) and Cap Ternay (5km) and the hills above the villas are scattered with many hiking trails. Although on the quieter side of Mahe, Villas de Jardin is very close (within easy walk) to a few local shops and cafes as well as the wonderful Del Place restaurant being only 10 mins walk away. If you do wish to seek out a little more of the busier side to Seychelles' life Victoria and Beau Vallon are only a 30min drive away as are the larger and well stocked supermarkets at Eden Island and Bois de Rose. All in all a wonderful little find and somewhere we would definitely stay again.
