Great experience. Let me summarize: Location: Yes, it is close to the airport but this does not matter so much. The hotel is in an idyllic lagoon and there is amazing turqoise water around which is especially visible in sunny weather - which is often the case. There is an amazing uninhabited island opposite the hotel which you can reach by swimming, kayaking or pedallo. All major water facilities you can take for free from the hotel. You can also book private boat trips to the reef, to the lighthouse island, etc. Staff is great at the boat center. There us a diving center ad well at the hotel. Activities: You can use many water facilities for free, you can take a catamaran cruise directly from the hotel's pier. You can rent a car, book a trip, etc directly from reception. There is animation and music entertainment in the evening. The only issue is that the guests themselves are not always very active in this direction. But it is great anyway. Food: It is great but book the premium package which entitles you to a la carte in the 1810 restaurant by the sea. You get a Lobster menu also incl in the package which is top notch. The food there is great. You can lunch and dine there with this package. Also you can have more premium drinks. Linda gave us a good package price for that. Actually Linda is great and is a role model for a hotel's manager I would say. Service: Kind and attentive staff, especially Linda...and everyone actually... What shocked me as customer attention is the following: Wife is a bit nuts about sea views (to excess I would say) and she initially kind of disapproved of the view from the room (we had the deluxe family sea view room) as she said the palms in front of the room were obstructing a bit the sea view... She loved the view immediately after spending 10 min on the balcony but great Linda had arranged already in the meantime for part of one palm's leaves to be CUT in order for us to enjoy the sea view better...we needed to RUSH and try to STOP them saying the view is great. I had not experienced this sort of tailor-made customer care. Overall: I highly recommend this hotel. Take the premium all inclusive package in any case so as to enjoy completely from all aspects.
