A pretty, exotic place surrounded by nature but very far from everything. The reception and cleaning were done very quickly upon my arrival and there was a big lack of availability during the stay. I had a problem in the lodge and I couldn't contact anyone.
The big positive point is the copious and excellent breakfast and the kindness of the staff.

When we arrived at the place we were shown our room. There were cockroaches, which the staff simply kicked out onto the terrace when they were pointed out by us. In the extra bed, for our daughter, there was animal excrement. We also had to point this out ourselves. The bedding was dirty and dirty. We had booked a room with a private pool, which was filthy. The large communal pool was in the same condition. The room was full of mosquitoes, and since animals could enter in several places, it would stay that way. It wasn't the mosquito nets by the beds. We chose to check out after a few hours, we weren't supposed to be there.

Quite simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. We were there only for one night and we slept terribly. This hotel is unsanitary!!! The place is abandoned, it’s worthy of a horror film. Everything is horribly dirty, the sheets, the floor, the bathroom, the swimming pool and the surroundings of the lodge. For the price asked, which is simply a steal, I strongly advise you to take another hotel. In addition, the rooms are extremely humid, with lots of insects and a foul smell. Really TO RUN AWAY!!!!

The worst hotel in Mauritius, never seen such a dirty hotel...and the horrible restaurant...in short to avoid...there is no wifi...it doesn't work except at reception and when that's it...the rooms are very very dirty and mosquitoes everywhere..

The place was in a wrecked. Very poor management. Very poor maintenance. The pool was dirty and unclean. The room was uncleaned with spiderwebs hanging around. The most horrible experience was art night, mice were roaming around, the management was informed and nothing was done. The place will end up in ruins if the management does nothing. The lodge said that they had a fish spa, which was just a small dirty aquarium with some fish from the nearby river. They also said they had kayak and paddle surf. When i asked about kayak, they said they lost all their kayaks. The food was okay, not to the expectation. The whole advertisement for the lodge is just an illusion, almost nothing is available. It is a complete waste of money.

At first glance it’s a very welcoming place and the service is ok. The staff is friendly and available and the food served is a good meal for the price paid. My only remark will be the private pool in the lodge, it wasn’t properly cleaned and the spa. We chose this facility because it offered a spa service but when we got there we were told that we needed to book 2days in advance which wasn’t mentioned on the booking site anywhere.. the place is really beautiful lushy and green though I would recommend definitely

The stay was very dissapointing! Really Poor breakfast, even though the hotel in the booking posted “GOOD Breakfast”, It was small chunks of white dried bread, and jam and a bad Coffee. The worst breakfast ever! The matress in the room was really bad. We could feel the springs in the bed. And there was cockroaches in the bathroom.
Good things: The staff was very friendly and there was hot water.
