Hotels in Maintal with Swimming Pools

Breakfast: Prae Corona: For breakfast, there were hard-boiled eggs and scrambled eggs as well as fried eggs. And orange juice. Mid-Corona (approx. April, May 2022): Fried eggs were canceled. October 2022: Orange juice was canceled (instead there is lukewarm, still cold and sparkling cold water from a vending machine ???), scrambled eggs (3x in a row) absolutely too salty. Dinner: Prae Corona: often buffet, sometimes a la carte, but then really good. Desserts top. Mid-Corona: only a la carte, but then very good. Desserts top. October 2022: Buffet: terrible, thinned out. Desserts:? Yogurt, are you serious? Room: I was sometimes on the 4th floor. Once an outside door was replaced, the workers temporarily sealed it with foil. So it was cold in the hallway (it was around this time - October -). But the room was well heated, no problem. This time: 4th floor, outside door OK. It felt like 15 degrees in the hallway. The same in the room. So I turned on both heating valves (room + bathroom) and went downstairs for ”dinner”. At 10:15 p.m. a waiter came and said: ”Last order, we close at 10:30 p.m.” OK, no problem today, but tomorrow I'm here with my course participants (no seminar in the hotel), so it could be embarrassing. So I have to reorganize the evening. Whatever. -- Side fact: Frankfurt's Europa League final against Glasgow Rangers was definitely broadcast in every bar in Frankfurt and the surrounding area - except here, in a hotel that has the Sky Europe logo on the banner. So I went back to the room, which was of course now nice and warm. I left the heating on. The next day it was too warm for me too. So I turned it back a bit - as they say here. On the second day it was pleasant in the room (OK, a quick airing). If you had simply made sure that the room had a pleasant atmosphere from the start, you would have saved on energy costs. All in all, I have to say: Sorry, but you won't be seeing me again any time soon.

At the weekend, part of my family stayed at this small family hotel, as unfortunately my apartment around the corner is not big enough to accommodate everyone. I and two other relatives were able to take part in breakfast in the morning. The hotel has a special style that we really liked, as well as the friendliness of the boss and her family. Public transport is also nearby, so you can travel without a car. We were super satisfied, will use it again for every celebration and can recommend it. Hopefully Ms. Irmchen stays so healthy and funny!!!
