Belanova Apartments and Suites

I was in Abuja recntly for a business meeting taking place at the ICC and was meant to stay at the Envoy Hotel but couldnt get a room and a friend book Belanova Apartment for me for 4 nights even though i was skeptical and decided to give it a trial Here are my honest review:The location is very practical in the heart of the city of Abuja . Pretty much accessible to every important land mark in the city Atmosphere in the hotel is very welcoming. Rooms are quite big well equiped for a long stay. Cleaniness is on the high side which is the main thing i look out for in every hotel i checked into,the Housekeepers doing a good job and also well trained as the room attendant often use bleach to disnfenct the toilet,their attention to detail in arranging my peronal items littered on the reading table and on top of the bed,thier courtesy smiles 0n the floor gives me more reason to return back. I took note of some individuals .Austine,Silas. i was also at the 7th floor lounge which has a very good ambience,i was told the loung was recently opened. And I would say I got good value for the the money spent ,And the Amenities are very modern and well maintained The only dowside is the tiny lift not conivinent for plus size men like us. My honest review about my recent stay at Belanova Apartment which wasn't a great one,as i checked out disappointed and dissatisfied. I was on a business trip and stayed at Belanova Apartment, a day before i checked-out i ordered spaghetti in the evening after returning from the day activities,to my greatest surprises the spaghetti was tasteless,there was no single spices on the spaghetti,just spaghetti garnished with vegetable,i only tasted two spoon and got pissed off and then left the rest. The next morning i checked out disappointed,this is the second time i am having same bad experience with Belanoa food,my previous stay in August i ordered Egusi soup which tasted stale and also was not delicious,It was very disappointing considering the amount i paid to stay there. The room is very clean ,soft comfy bed smart TV and the staff are very nice and engaging particularly the Housekeeper who are doing a great job keeping the room clean and the the Front Desk team. I am sorry this review is coming late,Although I left a copy of the same review on the feedback form on the desk in the room hoping that the hotel will reach out to me. I will definitely return because of cleanliness and environment,but wont gamble with the hotel food anymore,as i will prefer to order food outside the hotel, i stayed in room 403 . I think the Chefs needs more training with regards to culinary skills and the management should look into this seriously,otherwise the hotel and a very beautiful property in a good location. If you are looking for an apartment/hotel that provides you and your family with exquisite comfort then look no further than Belanova. The rooms are spacious and exquisitely furnished catering for expatriates and local clients. The facilities are adequate and the laundry services are world class. The place is great value for money. The staffs and management take feedback seriously and make necessary adjustments. The smiles on my kids said it all about the experience. I will definitely visit again
