La experiencia en El Fuerte fue fabulosa. Nuestra habitación tenía una hermosa vista al mar, cerca de restaurantes y tiendas con un cómodo club de playa. La atención fue excelente, en especial del gerente Lucca quien estuvo siempre atento a nuestros comentarios.

We had a fabulous day at this beach resort during our cruise. It was easy and cheap to find a taxi for the ride which took 15 minutes. The resort was right on a clean beach with very clear water. We were assigned a waiter/concierge named Abraham who was beyond attentive. The package included unlimited bar , appetizer and entree. Abraham checked with us very often to see if we had any needs. Food was amazing! Best guacamole and salsa I have ever had! Floats and water devices were available. Abraham easily got us a taxi back to the ship. We will be back!

Un bel hôtel très bien situé en bord de plage. Le personnel est très agréable et professionnel, de la réceptionniste jusqu’aux serveurs. Les chambres sont spacieuses. La nourriture du restaurant est excellente, avec une touche italienne. Il y a une plage privée avec fauteuils et possibilité de manger sur place. Un lieu paisible par rapport au nord est du Yucatan. Un lieu à recommander.

Nice beach club with good food. We paid for a beach excursion through Costa Maya Toucan Tours via VTG. They were great!! We were a few hours late for our taxi, but no problem, they immediately drove us to the beach club. It was a pretty spot to relax and have lunch. I would highly recommend this excursion on Mahahual Beach. In fact, my husband and I would love to just stay at El Fuerte Beach Resort next February for a few weeks if we can figure out the cheapest and most efficient way to get there. 😀

Hotel con los servicios básicos para tu comodidad, cuenta con aire, cocineta, vajilla muy mona y te dan garrafón de agua. La atención personalizada y excelente por parte de gerencia y en general todo el personal es muy amable; se vive una experiencia culinaria sorprendente al grado de no querer salir a otros restaurantes. Los tours que ofrecen los locales para Snorkel incluyen kayak y todo a muy buen precio para gozar de la belleza natural del lugar. Lo que podría mejorar es la presión de la regadera del baño que es súper débil y el mobiliario del club de playa y terraza de la habitación que algunos están dañados.

The pictures are deceiving. It’s not a private beach. The place was crowded since early morning. The ocean water is not that pretty and there was only a small area to use because of so many boats passing by. Not a $240 worth day pass (4 people).
