The Peninsula Manila, a hotel with over 50 years of history, boasts an excellent location in the heart of Makati, just a 20-minute drive from the airport. It's surrounded by numerous shopping malls, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel lobby is grand and currently has a strong Christmas atmosphere. Both the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated, they are still clean and tidy. The staff are all very warm and polite; they readily approved my request for a late check-out. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and tastes great. The outdoor swimming pool has a beautiful environment. It truly lives up to its reputation as a classic five-star hotel, and my stay was excellent.

My husband and pamangkins enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Overall, everything was great—wala akong masabi. The staff were very helpful, except for one receptionist at the Escolta area, if I remember correctly, her name was Julia.
She was very rude and was the only one who did not assist us. When I approached her for help, she even walked away from us. Imagine, it was my husband’s birthday and we received that kind of treatment. I mean, we shouldn’t have to mention that it was his birthday just to be treated properly as guests.
Our overall experience was excellent, but because of her, it was disappointing. She was the only one who negatively affected our stay at The Peninsula.

Great place to stay with most beautiful hotel lobby in the Philippines . Attentive staff makes you want to come back . Great dinning choices and options , nice pool and perfect spa .

Very nice room - simple, clean and elegant. Good services. Food at the lobby lounge is alright but not good values. Airport pickup is excellent although very expensive. Overall a very nice stay.
