Makati Palace Hotel

I arrived at the room in the early morning, and there were 3 cockroaches in my room. I was so tired that I went to sleep. The next day I told the girl about the cockroaches, and she very kindly changed my room and gave me an upgrade. The new room was nicer, but guess what? In the bathroom, cockroaches were coming out in swarms from under the floors while I was taking a dump. I complained to the workers, and they told me, "We can't do anything. We already notified the manager. They have to fumigate the whole hotel."🪳🪳🪳 Oh, and the elevators are incredibly hot, it's like a sauna.

Security, check-in, bell boys are great. The facade of the hotel is far more better than wat is real. Some elevators are not functioning properly. Bed are neat and clean. Aircon is acceptable. Location is excellent but for people not accustomed to nightlife hang-out are advice to not to stay out passed 10pm. But in general, with the reply and action of personnel, I say withour any doubt the hotel rate is acceptable and worth it.

Though they gave me the room that I requested which was near the elevator, their elevator was not working and they claimed that it is. I had to use the emergency elevator all the time which is very time consuming. They didn’t inform us that it was not working before checking in, they could’ve at-least offered another room on a different floor where elevators work.

During our stay at Makati Palace Hotel from December 23 to 24, we were disappointed due to serious cleanliness issues. Upon entering the bathroom, there was a strong unpleasant odor, which we later found was coming from the shower curtain. It appeared unwashed and possibly not replaced after the previous guest. Despite this, I proceeded to shower and contacted housekeeping afterward to request a replacement. Later that night, we discovered a blood stain on my child’s pillow. I have photographic evidence of this incident. At that point, I became deeply concerned about the hotel’s hygiene standards, as it seemed that room items may not have been properly cleaned or changed after prior use. Feeling uncomfortable and disgusted, I requested a room transfer from room (514 to room 603) and informed staff that if the next room had similar issues, we would check out and move to another hotel. Fortunately, the replacement room was clean. While the issue was resolved, the experience caused us distress, especially as we were traveling with a child. I hope management reviews housekeeping procedures to prevent this from happening again.

The location is perfect and the rooms are large and spacious compared to other hotels. It's currently undergoing renovations, but it's clear that it was once a luxury hotel. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, which truly overcomes the fact that, being old and poorly maintained, it has some flaws. Our stay was fine, and we would return once the renovations are complete.

This is my first time stay in your hotel, the location is good and lots of restaurant around hotel, but the service and facilities need to improve as my feeling, first of all, the car security told me he can park for me in the first time after check-in, but after check-in, he told us we need to drive to specific parking number by our own after check-in, however, the front desk service is good. Secondly, the air-condition is too noisy in the room, when someone came and checked, just leave "will ask maintenance come to check", then there is ending even no one come before I go out. above is my comment, thanks.
